Danielle's POV: We went downstairs and Mike put the tape into the VCR. He fast forwarded to the time I left. No one was in there yet. About ten minutes after I left the house, there was thumping in the room.
"Here." Mike said. Suddenly, the camera turned to static. "God damn it!" I said. The static stopped about a minute later. The drawer was open and all the stuff was tossed about.
"Well, now we'll never know!" I said. "It's ok Dan. Did you notice anything missing?" He asked. "It looked like everything was there." I said. "Well then we have nothing to worry about." He said. "Yeah, I guess you're right." I replied.
I got up and went into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and started looking for something to drink. Suddenly, I heard glass crashing to the ground behind me. I screamed and quickly spun around. There was pieces of a smashed plate on the floor.
Michael came running into the kitchen. "What happened?!" He said. He looked at the ground and stared at the plate. I was still in shock.
"Are you alright?" He asked as grabbed my arms. "Yeah, I'm ok." I said. "What happened?" He asked. "I don't know. It must have fallen out of the cabinet." I said.
We walked back into the room and found Emma cowering under the couch. I giggled. "Emma. Get out from under there you wimp." I said as I pulled her out.
We sat back down on the couch with Emma on Michael's lap.
