Ever since Genesis told the truth (lie) to Sephiroth, Sephiroth has been on the underground laboratory at ShinRa mansion in Nibleheim; searching for the truth. It's the 2nd day of him in there
We were supposed to check the mako reactor there with Zack, Sephiroth, Cloud (infantryman) and another infantryman. Turns out, JENOVA is kept right there.
I have a diary that magically restores a few pages only leaving the pages from I was born to the time they died.
Ancient writing was once wrote in it, I got to translate it and it said
Mystery of the book
Hidden with purpose
It shall be shown at the brink of crisis
And a spirit shall be a key to open its truth
Ever since Genesis went to his mission on Wutai along with a few 2nd and 3rd class SOLDIERs, my book started to show mysterious entries that writes "magic entry x", yet all blank.
Up to this moment it. The truth behind Sephiroth will reveal only with my spirit.

"How is he.. Zack?", I weakly ask. Today is the 5th day. I've been in the inn; resting, waiting for the right moment to tell him, to give him the book
"(Y/n), I knew that you can never get sick so suddenly. Please tell me what happened?", Zack pleaded
"Do you remember that diary?", he nods "Well, turns out it magically restores pages, but I was unable to read the entry in it, I needed to use my spirit, so.... I can stop this fraud truth Genesis made up.", I said "I don't know how much time I have left, but please. Do everything you can to make him come to me.. I need to tell him myself.", I pleaded and he nods
"I'll do everything it takes.", he said
"Thank you.."

3rd person's PoV
The 7th day has arrived, Zack finds Nibleheim in flames and Cloud on the floor, weak.
"Cloud?",
"Se..phi..roth..", Cloud said weakly
He knew at that moment to search for Sephiroth. He promised (y/n) to take him to her, no matter what.
There he finds Sephiroth. Standing around the fire
"I'm going to get you..."
"Sephiroth!", Zack yell but no use, he ignores him and walks away, but was stopped as he hears Zack's scream
"Sephiroth!!! (y/n) needs you!!!!!"
Sephiroth was dragged out of insanity as he hear her name, repeating in his head
"Where?", he turns around
Zack turns his back on Sephiroth and runs to the inn, Sephiroth following him worriedly
"He's here!", Zack said, (y/n)'s dull (e/c) eyes looking at him, it was close to grey
Zack moves out of the way and Sephiroth enters the room
"Sephiroth..",
"(Y/n).. Why didn't you tell me?", he said, his voice shaking
"It happened the second day you locked yourself up in that lab.", she answered, tears falling "I'm glad you came."
"How are you?"
"I don't know, I feel like I'll give into the light anytime now.", she answered
"I'm sorry..", Sephiroth said hugging her tight.
Sephiroth was too late. He longed to love her, but he couldn't tell her. It was all too late
(Y/n) was the same.. but every move and sound she make makes her even weaker.. she knew its almost time
"Sephiroth?", she spoke, showing the diary and handing it to him "Please open the book as soon as I pass, all the answers you plead for is right here...", she said and Sephiroth takes it, giving it to Zack
"(Y/n)... "
"You'll never forget me.. right?", she ask and he nods.
"I won't dare to..", he joked, trying to light up the mood, but failed
"I love you.. Sephiroth.. I sacrifice my life for you.. For your answers that were never given to you..", she smiled "Make sure you don't forget me.. or I'll make sure that... as soon as you enter the life stream.. I'll make sure you won't be able forget me.. For sure.. Goodbye.."
Before she could close her eyes, a pair of soft lips meets hers.. she smiles weakly and kisses back, closing her eyes.. she slowly is being pulled out of her body
Sephiroth breaks the kiss gently, he saw the woman she loved now cold, dead, yet was still beautiful..
"Goodbye.. my love.. I love you too..",
Sephiroth then opens the book and finds out all the answers he has seek.
He then found out the exact meaning of what she said
"I love you.. Sephiroth.. I sacrifice my life for you.. For your answers that were never given to you.."
He stopped his mission on destroying Gaia and JENOVA's cells inside him has no longer power to make him insane and to make him her puppet
He was now the one who reads the Diary's entries.. He knew even with it, he can still feel her around him.
Flashback
"It was my mother's diary, but when she passed, mother told me to treasure it and pass it onto the person the book secretly describes.. I don't know what it means, but I want to make her happy. If this is making her happy."

"I always keep it with me so I can feel her.."
"How come.. I don't get it..."
"When you cherish someone.. you cherish their most valuable item.. that way, you can feel them.. like its something you can't live without.. you do know my trauma problems."
"What happens if you forget it or you feel that it's not with you?"
"Worse. These (y/p) of mine will go haywire and could probably destroy the entire Midgar. Even worse! That's why I have it with me.. I keep it with me for two reasons. One is for the secrets of this book and second is for my own good, it keeps me sane!"
Sephiroth smiles at these memories.
Little did he know. A beautiful girl with (e/c) eyes ,(h/c) hair and beautiful (f/c) wings is smiling at him from afar
