Anna's Pov

Justin and Austin sat down next to Ace on the other side of his bed. They've been talking for 2 and a half hours.

"I'm hungry." I said getting up.

"Me too." Austin said.

"Does Subway sound good?" Joshua said.

"Yeah. It does." Ace said.

"Okay. I'll pick it up." I said.

Austin came with me.

He drove me since I don't have my liscense yet, my parents just haven't got to it yet. Once I turn 17 I will get it as a present.

We got the sandwhiches and Austin was super quiet the whole time.

"Hey, Austin. It's been a while." I said.

"Yeah." He said quietly.

I shrugged. Maybe he was just upset about something, but he seemed so okay with Ace...

I left it alone.

"Thanks for coming with me." I said.

"You're welcome." He said focused on the road.

I sighed heavily.

He probably heard me because he said, "I'm sorry is something bothering you?"

"No. No." I said.

"You sure?" He said with a confused look.

"Yep." I said.

He stayed quiet after that and he continued to drive.

We pulled up into the hospital parking lot and Austin stopped the car. It was bothering me a lot that he wasn't talking to me.

"Austin." I said.

He turned to me while grabbing the Subway bags.

"What's wrong?" I said.

"Nothing." He said.

I rolled my eyes, "Dude, come on."

"Can you just help me with these bags..?" He said.

I sighed and helped him with everything.

"Thanks." He said.

"Thanks for this." Ace said biting into his sandwich.

"You're welcome." Austin said.

"When are they letting you out?" Joshua said taking a big gulp of his Coke.

"Tomorrow." He said.

"I told you Chris was no good." Austin said.

"He's.... He's just Chris. He's always been the way he is now. We just need to accept that he is jerk." Ace said.

"He's always been like this?" Joshua said.

"Yeah. I've known him since we were three years old.." Ace said.

Then someone came in.

Elizabeth...

"Oh my God, Ace!" She said.

I rolled my eyes.

Ace didn't seem too happy to see her.

"I'm so sorry!" She said again as tears developed in her eyes.

He rolled his eyes.

"Can't you see he is uncomfortable with you here?" Austin said.

"I just miss him..." She said looking at Austin.

"I don't miss you." Ace said straight up.

"Deep down in your heart you do." She said.

Then she looked at me. She gave me a boring look.

"What are you doing here..?" She said.

"I invited her." Ace said.

Elizabeth looked at him then me and she broke out into an obnoxious laugh.

"Her? Really?" She said in between laughs.

"I don't get what's so funny. Can someone catch me up?" I said.

"Oh honey. It's just that. You're a loser, and I'm sure Ace didn't mean to invite you here." Elizabeth said with an evil smile.

God, I hated every single bit of her.

"I'm sure I didn't invite you." Ace said.

Elizabeth looked at him.

"Baby..." She said.

The whole room went silent.

"Don't." Ace said turning away from her in disgust.

Her phone buzzed as she got a text message.

She looked at it and looked up from her phone.

"I'll go." She said and she ran away in her little high heels.

"I wish she feel in those on the way out." Joshua said.

All of us broke out into a laugh.
