All Eddie could hear was this faint noise of dripping. He couldn't quite pinpoint what it was, but he struggled to open his eyes and what he saw was a wreck. Aleks and him had been driving, then boom, everything had been a blur. The last he remembered was smiling at his boyfriend and him laughing. He wasn't sure what had happened, but he knew that he had to go look for Aleks immediately. He let his eyes flutter open once again and painfully turned his neck to where Aleks had been sitting. Aleks was laying there, nearly uninjured except for some cuts on his forehead and arms. He was glad that Aleks wasn't injured heavily like he was. He shut his eyes once again and sat there, awaiting help from a bystander. He had heard some footsteps when he checked on Aleks. Creeping up behind the car, he imagined a silhouette, calling for help to oncoming traffic. He didn't expect what had happened next. The unknown figure had reached in and stabbed him. He soon realized that this was no accident, that this was a planned murder.
Aleks woke up dazed and bewildered. He looked around and saw Eddie next to him. Pale and really bloody. Aleks felt his love's hand and it felt cold. He removed his seatbelt and struggled to get out of the car. He went over to the driver's side and pulled Eddie out of the seat and unto the ground. Aleks pulled his love's shirt open to examine what happened, only to find 6 stab wounds and the words "Watch out." carved into Eddie's chest.
Eddie woke up in all white and in a place that resembled his home, but cleaner and plain white. Eddie continued looking around until he came upon an item in color, a tv. He turned it on and saw Aleks. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. He saw himself with stab wounds and words on his chest. There was a knock on the door. Eddie cautiously got up and opened the door. Eddie recognized the face almost immediately. It was Kevin. The one and only TomAnex. "Yooo duuddeee." Kevin greeted. "Are you dead too?" Kevin smiled and answered. "Nah, man. I'm alive, but let's just say I'm magical." Eddie made a confused face and sat down with his head in his hands. "What the fuck is going on?" Kevin sat across from Eddie and explained in full detail what happened. "Eddie, you died and now, you're like some sort of a guardian angel. To elaborate, you were killed by someone evil and you've been given a task to forfill before you can move on. Your task is this: save Aleks from the forces of evil. The person, who killed you, is going after Aleks as his primary target, but for some reason, he chose to kill you first. You need to figure out how to use your guardian angelly powers to save your boyfriend. But, if you fail and Aleks dies, your journey is over and you will wander lost forever." Kevin took a deep breath and continued on. "I know you might have a lot of questions, so I'm going to tell you everything you need to know. Number one, you're dead so you can't communicate with anyone without a host. Number two, I'm not dead, I'm just someone who was destined to be someone who helps people pass over. Number three, don't trust anyone. Number four, this is a game of life or death. Lastly, good luck." Eddie stared at Kevin like he was a madman. He hadn't taken any of that in. "Uh, so. How do I start, I guess?" Kevin got up and walked somewhere for a moment and reappeared with a controller. "I got this specifically made for you. This is what will help you. Also, here. Take this phone. It has my number and I won't guarantee I will remember you, but show me this phone and I'll help you in reality." Kevin handed Eddie a phone and said goodbye. Eddie wasn't sure as to how a controller was going to help him in his journey to save Aleks.
