"Sir, are you sure we should do this? You saw all the damage the last one did..-" "I don't care. We were asked to make this, and nothing will stop the project." The director of the project, Julian R., growled as he watched his scientists work on the project, which was building a new hybrid for Biosyn. "Just because Ingen failed, doesn't mean we will," Gemma, the lab assistant who was trying to get him to change his mind, simply sighed and went back to work, as she quietly regretted her decision to join Biosyn.
-Timeskip, 4 months later-
"Finally, our experiment is done!" Julian cried, watching said experiment look around in the room it was given. As he continued going on about how Biosyn will go on from Ingen's mistake, Gemma noticed how young the experiment looked, around 2 or 3 at the most. "Sir, she's just a child-" "It is not a child, nor is it female. It is a object we made, and just a thing." Julian growled, glowering at Gemma. His growling was cut short by another, much more deeper snarl from the room that the experiment was being held. Both turned to the room, only to see that the experiment was glowering directly at Julian, hatred and anger in her red-orange eyes. Julian scoffed and turned to watch away, and the noise of glass being hit with a large amount of force was heard. He turned once again, and noticed the experiment had hit her hand against the glass, and was snarling deeply. There was a large spiderweb crack coming from where her hand made conact with the glass, and when it pulled her hand back, there was small shards of glass embedded in her flesh. "H-How powerful.." Julian mumbled, as he left, a smirk on his face. Gemma sighed and turned to the experiment, who was looking at her hand in confusion. "Hi there, little one.." The experiment looked up sharply and gave off a warning growl, backing away. "Oh no.. don't worry, I won't harm a child." "..." There was a silence before Gemma broke it, "I'm Gemma." "J..Jenma..?" The experiment asked, her voice obviously feminine yet growlish. "Close enough.. and now, we should get a name for you.." "Mei?" Gemma giggled and nodded, "Yes, you." She, the young experiment, smiled a bit. Another silence fell, before Gemma spoke, "Hey, how about Alpha?" "Al..Alpha..?" "Mhm! I think it fits!" Another small smile, "I..I liek Alpha!" "I do too..~"
