*Lauren's P.O.V*

'There it is,' I thought to myself,' you won't have to step another foot in this place ever again.' As today is the last day of school, and I am a senior this year, today is the day where i part from everyone, where everything changes. These past couple of years in high school have been filled with nothing but drama, friendships, relationships, and crushes. Throughout all of these things, I learned how to be a strong person.

As of tomorrow, it won't matter who I hung out with, who I was friends with, what I wore, how my hair looked, what shoes I thought looked cool, who I fought with, because in the end, I am just another senior who has graduated with everyone else. I didn't make myself known, so no one will miss me. I didn't do something extravagant, I won't go down in school history, I was just another teenager sitting in the back of the room with about five friends.

"Lauren!!!," I was knocked out of my thoughts as my best friend Carson yelled my name. She ran up to me and engulfed me in a tight hug," Carson, I need to breathe." She laughed and let me out of her tight grip. "I still can't believe that it is our last day. I'm not gonna miss it," she responded calmly. "I won't either, though Jenna tells me otherwise," I responded whilst looking around at the boring white walls. Carson and I walked down the hallway toward our lockers, which are right by each others. We kept our heads held up high. Somewhere in the future, we will have kids of our own, whom we will share our high school experiences with. They will pass those stories onto their kids, who will pass it onto their's, and so on.

Since today is the last day of school, the whole school just hangs out around campus, and the teachers couldn't careless if we just ditched school. Over half of the school didn't come to school today anyways. "Hurry up Carson," I whined," I wanna be able to find the others." "Hold your horses," she ordered," we are all hanging out at Dylan and Miranda's after school." "But still," I continued. She huffed and stuffed the rest of her stuff from her locker into her backpack (I had cleaned my locker out yesterday). "Now come on Ms. Impatient," she teased once she finished cleaning her locker out.

When we arrived to the art room, because we always hang out in the art room, I spotted my best guy friend. I ran over to him and sat on his lap. We have a weird friendship. We flirt with each other a lot, and we are really close, but he doesn't mean it that way, or at least I think he doesn't. "Hey Dilpickle," I yelled, even though he could clearly hear me. "Hey Bear," he yelled back. Dilpickle is my nickname for him, since his name is Dylan, and he has always been called pickle by everyone. My nickname from him is Bear because I use to have this small stuffed teddy bear when I was 5 ( we were childhood friends), and I use to tell him that one day I would become a bear and live in the woods and have bear friends, and have a family. He would make the pun about how living like that would be unbearable. His pun was so stupid to me, that it was funny. "How are you feeling about it being the last day of high school?," I asked as he wrapped his arms around me and rested his head on my shoulder. "Well," he started," I'm gonna miss it a lot if I'm being honest with you." "But we are free now," I told him," we can date whoever we want, throw parties when we want, it is now our choice to go to school, no one, but law enforcement and elders, can tell us what to do or how to live our life. " "Yeah but," he started," what if we all end up forgetting each other? What if we never speak to each other again?" "We are all going to the same college so that is very unlikely," I responded back. We had all made plans to go to the same college, and we all got accepted to go to UCLA in the fall.

In the fall, I am going to major in music to become a choir teacher (unless our band kicks off, then I am going to pursue that). Dylan is going to major in technology, Carson isn't going to college (she got accepted into this art school, it isn't really a college as it just runs for a year), Miranda is Dylan's younger sister, so she has to stay in Florida for another year, Jason is going to culinary school, and Gabriel makes videos on YouTube (and he is pretty popular ). We are also going to take my puppies, Lucy and Sammy, Gabriel's kittens, Zeus and Hera, Dylan's puppy, Max, and Carson's dog, Mandy.

In three days, we all leave to go on a little road trip to get stuff moved into our new house. Our parents each offered to pay a few months worth of bills, as long as we can get on our feet quickly. I already have a job, as my uncle Rob works for some interviewing company, and he got me a job in interviewing random people/celebrities. Dylan's grip tightened around my waist," You're very beautiful, you know that?" I scoffed, and blushed," I am not beautiful, complete opposite actually." "Quit lying to yourself," I rolled my eyes as he said this.

Jason walked into the room quickly, with a panicked look on his face," You guys better come see this."
