Dear you,

The demons were whispering in my ear, and although I refused to believe it, I knew somehow they were somewhat real.

They had a very thick accent. Their voice dark, deep and very evil like. I could hear the click of their sharp teeth and the way their tongues licked their lips. The drool spilling over their mouth's sides and a horrible odor was emitted from their mouths.

Although they were whispering, I felt like they were screaming in my ear. Yelling at me for everything. Calling me, trying to get to me.

There was a clicking sound surrounding me while they spoke into my ear and I could only imagine their number.

One specific demon had been the one speaking. Whispering. Poisoning me with his words. Poisoning my soul.

He must've been their leader. The others had been surrounding me, laughing, bickering and screaming. They would repeat the last words he would've said or added a remark.

"You're ours," they would say. "We'll take you," he laughed in a manner that made the hairs on my neck stand to their end. "We'll kill you."

I had been in my bed. Covered in sweat, tossing and turning throughout the night. I had been moving so much around my own bed, trying to release myself from my own jail.

"We'll torture you until we kill you, princess."

The others laughed like they heard the joke of the century. Their laughs poisoned with the evil that seeped from their souls.

A lunatic laugh.

"Your time is up, girl!" They had screamed repeatedly. The clicking sound repeating over and over in a loop.

My eyes were glued shut and my mouth sealed off. My body was frozen and I didn't know if it was fear or them somehow controlling my body.

"We'll have you soon," he whispered. I felt claws crawl up my arms, circle my cheek a couple of times until they rested on my head.

I wanted to scream.

I couldn't even cry.

"It'll all be over soon," he said it in such a calming manner, someone might think he was actually trying to calm my racing heart.

I thought I was going to have a heart-attack.

I probably would've had one if they had stayed longer.

I was so confused and lost. I didn't know what to do, because although they had eventually left, I felt dirty.

Filthy.

They were nowhere close but when I opened my eyes, I shot up from my bed and went straight to the bathroom and threw up whatever contents that had been in my stomach.

I leaned over the rusty, old toilet and released whatever I had left in my system. When I realized that I had finished, I sat back wiping my mouth and rested my back on the cold wall.

I enjoyed the cold ground, it cooled my body off and had a soothing effect on me. Closing my eyes, I leaned my head back and closed my eyes.

After a couple of minutes, I got up and rinsed my mouth. Then splashed some freezing cold water on my face. After a couple of minutes of debating with myself, I splashed the water on my arms and wet the back of my neck and my legs.

Instantly, I felt much better.

I walked back into my dirty bedroom and walked to the window. Sitting on the ground beside it, I pulled my legs closer to my body resting my head on my knees. I looked out the window and let my mind float away.
