Starfire screams grew louder and louder. Daystar stared at the Drebna guarding his room.

"Let me go!" He shouted as he struggled against the restraints.

The Drebna didn't even seem phased. They stood there and stared forward into nothingness.

Then Daystar had an idea. He sat there for a while. He slowly started to slump moreover. Then his eyes went wide and he let out a large gasp and fell to the floor.

The Drebna surrounded him as he faked a heart attack. As soon as he was ready, Daystar sprinted for the door and locked it behind him. The Drebna screamed and pounded on the door. He ignored them and ran for the exit.

He was going to get away. A few more meters and..........

"AHHHHHHH!"

The screeching sound of Starfire's scream pierced his ears again. He has to go and get her. She was probably being tortured, experimented on, hurt.

But, he knew something. If he went back there was a small chance of getting them both out. He knew the smart choice would be to leave. Go back to Tamaran. Get the emperor. Then he could save Starfire.

But his feelings for her kicked in as she screamed again. He sprinted towards the dreaded screaming.

He continued to run down the hall until he ran into someone. He was ready to shoot starbolts at them until he saw who it really was.

"What are you doing here?" He said sounding angry, shocked, and scared.

"Why would I tell you that?" They responded.

"Because, if you don't I'll blast you," Daystar said sounding unsure of himself.

"You can't do that. You care about me," the girl across from him remarked.

"Blackfire. Why?" He said slowly lowering his lit up fists.

"Because I can," Blackfire spoke with fear in her eyes.

"What happened to you?" Asked Daystar. Blackfire responded with a look of sadness.

"You, Starfire, and I. We all were Best friends. You were my friend. And now I find with some Drebna while you're sister is screaming in pain! You and this Drebna, are you better friends with him than you ever were with me? I trusted you! Starfire trusted you!" He yelled at her.

"I still care some for my sister," she mumbled.

"Some?!" Daystar shouted.

"Let her go," Blackfire said firmly to one of the Drebna standing next to her. "I can't do this to her yet. She's to young. I'll wait."

Her eyes flickered to Daystar, "Join me. I've always cared for you. You're still my friend. Starfire is a brat whom doesn't listen. As much as I love her, she must leave. She is not right for Tamaran. She belongs somewhere far away in a cold dark prison. She is too young now, but later. Please Daystar."

Daystar had always loved Starfire. Nothing would change that. He  did what he thought was right. He shot a starbolt at Blackfire.

She was knocked unconscious. He stole a gun she had in her belt and shot and killed the remaining Drebna.

He saved Starfire, but at what cost?

"And......... Done."

"So, will our communicators finally work?" Beast Boy asked examining his.

"Without Slade hearing what we're saying and tracking our every move?" Raven added.

"Yup," Cyborg answered nodding his head.

"Great," Robin said logging back on to the Titans' main computer.

"Yes, this is the great! I would hope that........" Starfire tripped over the rug and fell. Robin was by her side to catch her faster than the speed of light.

"Star. You gotta be careful. You might pop the stitches in your head," Cyborg said worriedly.

Starfire took a few deep breaths before she replied, "I am the okay. Besides, we will take these out soon. I am healing fairly quickly."

Robin still hadn't let go of her. "But Star. Just because you're tamaranean doesn't mean you're invincible," Robin added.

"Yes, but........" Starfire started.

"Starfire. You need rest. Go lay down. We got this," Robin stated.

Starfire looked around at her friends worriedly and without another word, she left the room.

"She's gonna try to help," Beast Boy muttered after she left.

"She wouldn't. She knows that I'll stop her," Robin replied.

"Sure......... Like that's gonna stop her," Cyborg added.

"Can we please just focus?" Robin asked his teammates.

"Yeah and stop thinking 'bout her," Beast Boy added.

All the Titand burst into laughter except for Robin, who stood there with his face practically glowing beat red.

"That's like asking Slade if he can turn himself in," Cyborg chuckled.

Robin's face lit up and he rushed to the computer.

Beast Boy sighed, "And I thought I was the stupid one."

"Actually, Beast Boy....." Robin said as he continued typing.

"I believe that I just found out where Slade is going to strike next."

"Hurry up Daystar!"

"I'm coming!" Daystar shouted chasing after Starfire.

"We made it," Starfire said looking atop the large mountain they were on.

"I wish Blackfire were here," Starfire whispered.

He still hadn't told her. He loved her. He didn't want to see her upset. He would stop Blackfire when the day came, but for now they would be happy.

"Starfire. You look beautiful," Daystar whispered.

Starfire turned to him and smiled. He was confused on what to do. On Tamaran, the grand ruler chose everyone
