Indirect bullying is when stories or rumors about a person are spread around and excluding others from the group. Indirect bullying does not physically hurt the person, but it can be very emotional for the victim. An example of indirect bullying can be if someone started a rumor that a boy liked playing with stuffed animals because they thought it would be funny. Some other examples of indirect bullying can be: destroying relationships and reputations, embarrassment, gossiping, graffiti, glares and dirty looks, and negative body language.
Hello, I am Penelope but you probably know me by "Pig." I have a relitively safe time at school.
Boys and girls trip me, gossip about me, and glare at me. Nothing too outragous as no one wants to be caught. Security in schools now are very tight but the kids have become extra skilled.
When they bump into me they make sure not to look where they are going while purposfully aiming for me.
When they gossip about me, they only do it to when there us no teacher is around and look like they are normally talking to me.
When they glare at me, they tend to smile making it seem like a smirk. Almost like we are being mischivous but its all an act. An act that isolates me yet seems as if I'm friends with everyone.
