Dear Diary

A/N - this is a journal entry from ash right after his first frontline battle.

Ash-

Dear diary,

     Today was my first battle, but that's not even a right name. This is war, no gym badges. Just two sides throwing everything they can at each other. We were able to advance, but I feel how tense everyone is. I've heard that there is somthing, something strong. A Pokemon to be rivaled by none. They say it can in compassionate everyone in its way. But I know pikachu and I can handle it.
