In the morning, you plan your day and how you want it to go. You make a path out for yourself so you won't walk right off a cliff called a bad day. In your mind, nothing can go wrong.
You start the day, planning to have fun with friends. However, instead you are greeted with a choice. Try to be honest and helpful, or withdraw yourself and lie. You decide that being honest is better.
You sacrifice friendships.
You decide to continue on, determined not to reach the cliff and to stay on the road for a good day. Later, you plan to start on your way to follow a dream of yours. Yet, your dream seems to have forgotten about you. You struggle to get noticed. But you get told to not be an annoyance by a person you trust. You are told that you will get your turn. You have a choice. Push to get noticed at the cost if being an annoyance, or watch passively in hopes of getting remembered. You decide to wait, putting your trust in that one person. You get betrayed in favor of being a trustworthy friend.
You sacrifice a dream.
You have one final plan, relax yourself and indulge in your own comforts. But people dear to you require you to help them on reaching their dreams. You have a choice. Relax and be selfish, or help and be selfless. You help.
You sacrifice your comfort.
Now at the end of the day, you hope that those you helped will help you. You ask for help in being consoled.
"I do not consider you a friend."
"Don't be an annoyance."
"I owe you nothing."
So at the end of the day, you are greeted with one last choice. Stray away from the cliff, or walk off of it.
You decide to stray away, but in your mind you already knew the simple fact of the matter. That wasn't really a choice.
Hey there guys! I know that this oneshot seems depressing, but it's just a vent. Lately, life has been kind of pushing against me, and I truly needed some form of relief. I know that just venting into words isn't always exactly healthy. But it helps. You don't have to comment or vote this story, though I'm not telling you not to. I just needed relief. I may not release such depressing topics often, buy hey everyone has limits, and I felt way too close to mine. I will try to work on Lovely Stokes, but certain obstacles still block me. But don't worry, I'll break through. Until next time, Kammo out.
