TOMORROW YOU MAY

In the danger and darkness of the night,

Where roads are lonely with no melodious sound,

Where people despair and run in fright,

And footprints disappear never to be found.

In the midst of this game of life and death,

Where broken hearts can seldom be healed,

Where cunning and vicious traps are set,

With the poor little truth always being sealed.

Where truth may sound like a lie,

With the devil in the guise of a saint,

Where failure is your gift however hard you may try,

With harsh hypocritical words which may make you faint.

Where your lonely life is full of rough rain and pain,

Where sadness is the only charitable gift you gain,

Learn always to move ahead and not lament all day,

For today what you do not have,

Tomorrow You May.................
