I hoped and prayed that we, wouldn't miss the show. Considering we got lost countless times, plus it had already turned pitch dark. Stopping my bike near a lamp, I grabbed the flyer away from Hayley, causing her to sulk and pout. "This is why I drive us places!!" I said redirecting our bikes in the right way and off we went...

Checking the address again, I looked up to the looming theater in the distance. "Do you remember this place?" Hayley asked motioning around. Nodding I looked around at our favorite old hang out place. Ever since we started Highschool we came here. But apon graduation, this place just became a memory of a memory. We quickly threw our bikes in the bushes and walked over the the entrance. Which had long been sealed, and barred. Pulling at the lock it wouldn't budge, Hayley sighed leaning against the fence. "Ooph..." Hayley moaned the as the gate simply opened, "Are you ok?" She slowly stood brushing cobwebs off her shirt, nodding.

Smiling somewhat, we dove further into the darkness leaving this world behind. Little did we know how right I was.... The velvet red carpet was lacid with dust, as the floor boards beneath, us creaked with our every step. Our only light source was, a few moon beams, that sneaked their way through the rips, in the drapes. I could just barley see a door, up ahead in the distant darkness, Hayley nodded saying she saw it to.

Well, this was the address on the flyer... "Tickets please, Sarah.." A deep voice boomed, resounding all around us. Craining my head, I look up to see a pair of black eyes stairing back. The creature stepped from the shadows and into what little light there was. Revealing a very very tall man all clad in black, he must at least be 7ft tall!!! Hayley whistled at the man astounded, "Try your pocket Sarah.." the man coaxed, with a certain twinkle in his eyes.

Sighing, I knew we didn't have any tickets but doing as he instructed I slung my hand in my pocket. At first I couldn't feel anything thing, then I felt two slips of paper. Pulling them out the tall man smiled, "On the house.." and in one swift motion he stuck the tickets in his mouth, chewing them to bits. Lowering her voice to a whisper Hayley spoke, "Why does everyone know your name?" I swallowed the lump in my throat, turning to the tall man behind us. As he stopped at the first row of chairs, "Thanks Mr.Tall." The man looked at me funny, then smiled knowingly to himself walking back up the isle.

Hayley was so excited she couldn't sit still, up and down, up and down she bounced in her chair. "Would you sit still!!" I hissed as the audience around us hushed themselves, and the lights dimmed. Then in a matter of seconds, a spotlight was centered on the stage and Mr. Tall spoke, "Welcome to the Cirque Du Freak!!!!" He motioned around, "We have traveled the world for our 500 years... I must warn you, if you are faint hearted I sujest you leave!!" No one spoke, or dared move... "Release the Wolfman!!!"

The animal appeared to be half-man but looked nothing like one. It growled and snarled as it walked down the rows, Mr. Tall had warned us all to be quite if we valued our lives. A distant boom, was followed by a savage howl and the beast lept at the women to my left, biting off her arm. Hayley grabbed for my arm as I watched Mr. Tall bound off the stage and over to her. As two small blue hooded figures retrieved the limb, and stood back watching as Mr. Tall sewed the hand back in place. Sighing the women silently thanked him, and the show continued.

A few more acts came on none that really interested me so I sat back propping my feet up. The dark curtains hiding the back stage area moved a bit, and a pair of familiar blue eyes peered out at the audience. They scanned through the crowd, from the back row to the front. Then the eyes stopped, as the person behind the curtain gazed. "Sarah..." Hayley elbowed me in the ribs and I looked away from the drapes to the women in front of me. She was beautiful, her dark colored hair cascaded down her shoulders and her blue dress glittered as the spot light turned to us. "Hold out your hands." Reaching my hand out palm facing upward, lightly the women placed one oh hers on top of mine. She gasped a second Later, snatching her hand back, "Who are you?" She demanded turning back to the stage, something was wrong.

A few moments latter after a commotion back stage, a green haired man stumbled on stage. He slouched a bit, spitting in his palm and then he smoothed his hair back. Hayley scooted to the front of her chair. Watching the strange man. As yet again I felt a pair of eyes on me. The man introduced himself, "Vancha March.." I think he said. Pulling the belt of shruikens tighter he let a few fly, just as the little blue hooded figures, scrambled to get out of the way.

At the end of the man's act he took a lazy bow and I know I saw him wink at someone. Then Hayley squealed, and I laughed. "You know how to pick'em." I said joking, as someone called for silence.

As a man clad all in red zoomed on stage, at an ungodly speed. The blur soon developed a face, and a scar to matched. He bowed courteously, his eyes never leaving mine, "My name is Larten Crepsley........."
