"Hey." I didn't mind him for the nth time. Like seriously he's been annoying me for like hours.
I just rolled my eyes still looking at my laptop when he stood up and—oh well I guess I would be grateful if he'll leave me. But unfortunately not because just like EVERYTIME I got annoyed, at the end of the day he'll usually finds a way to somewhat apologize through actions.
"A chocolate drink and chips for Geoffy, and nothing for me." Jeff gave me what he bought. And I was so happy since these foods are my favorite. Though I have a very long list of favorites :P
"Thanks." I said sincerely. I saw him smirk which annoys me much.
"You know what Geoff, I won't apologize for what I did to you today." I looked blankly at him. Psh like of course I know! "Hwhat?" he laughingly said. "Okay so—" he looks at his watch and continued his sentence "We better be going home now it's 17:12 in my watch." I didn't bother to argue since it's already five and my mom will really get mad. Jeff helped me get up and fix my things.
"Have you ever thought about the significance of your study?" I shook my head at his question. I've been thinking about this investigatory project for years and yet I still don't know its significance. "Ahhh time will come you'll know its significance. So don't worry Geoff." I looked at him and smiled. This is one of his attitude that I liked.
After half an hour we finally arrived at my house. It's also an advantage that he lives next door so that I won't be scrupulous if ever something unpleasant is going to happen. "Ah Jeff, why won't you come in and have a dinner with my family? What'ya think?" I offered.
He shook his head. "Nah. Maybe next time Geoff." I just nodded saying good night before I opened his car's door. "Good night too, Geoff." He started his car engine and entered their garage.
"Mom? Dad?" I called as I enter the house. I went to the kitchen and found my plate with a rice and a bowl of soup beside my plate. *shrugs* Guess I came home late. *sigh*
While I was eating my dinner ALONE, I was thinking about my study. Questions fled like, "How did I come up with that study without its significance? Geez." I looked up when someone opened the door. "Eh? I thought they are all here already—gosh I forgot to greet my parents."
I didn't notice that 'that someone' was in front of me not until he caught up my attention. "Why are you gawking at our cabinet? Is there something bothering you, honey? Where's your mom by the way? I keep on calling her." Phew. I walk towards him and blessed. "God bless you, dear. Where are your siblings?"
I shrugged. "Dunno maybe snoring already. Or reading, studying, doing home works, playing, laughing—"
"You haven't seen them since you arrived, have you?" I nodded and went back to eat my food.
"George! Gin! Dad's home!" I yelled. A moment later I heard footsteps toward the kitchen.
