The Tale of a Town Named Holly - An Animal Crossing Tale.

[Chapter One] Turning Over a New Leaf.

     

I sighed as I close the letter to my parents. 

𝑯𝒆𝒚 𝑴𝒐𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒂𝒅. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒗𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒇𝒂𝒓. 𝑰 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒊𝒕. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒊'𝒎 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏. 𝑺𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒇 𝑰'𝒎 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒐𝒐𝒏, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒊'𝒍𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒕! 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒏𝒐𝒘, 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒂 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒇. 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖.

I'm going to bring that to the Holly post office once I get there. I'm looking out the window until some cat sits over at the seat across from me. "Hey, you!" He exclaims, "What are you doing on this bus?". I look over at him. "Well, I'm just moving to a town named Holly." I say.

"Have you been to  Holly before?" He asks.

"Never."

"Well here is a map, just refer back to it whenever you need it. Holly is a pretty big city, and you're going to be mostly in charge of it."

"What do you mean?"

"Sorry, this is your stop." He stands up and walks to the back of the train.

I walk up to the bus doors and exit into the train station. A monkey who goes by the name of Porter greets me,"Hiya, Mayor! I am Porter!" He tips his hat. I slowly nod my hat and exit the train station only to see a small group of animals lined up in front of me.

"WELCOME TO HOLLY, MAYOR." They all yell.

"I think you all are mistaken, I am not the mayor!"

I tried to tell them, but they were just taking it as a joke. A yellow dog walked up to me, "Your house is down by the beach mayor, and if you would like to ever expand, Tom Nook on Main Street will give you a loan that you could pay. If you ever need help, just stop by the town hall , it's to the right of retail which is up top next to main street. We also have already furnished your house quite a bit, have a good night." She said.

It's night time now, I finally made my way down to my house. It has the whole modern furniture set. this brings back memories, I used to have that back at home. Whatever, it's bed time now.

I shut off the lights and lay down in bed and shut my eyes.
