- Louis' P.O.V -
"Are you sure?" Emma says
I nod and keep on walking
"Okay, so where do you live?"
I laugh and give her the are-you-serious look "I live next door from you!"
"Really!?" she laughs "oh, so you're the one who's moving in there"
"Yup" I say popping the "p"
We continue walking in silence. But I didn't mind, I was still shocked. I can't believe I found the person we have been looking for, for about 3 years! But I think she hasn't gotten her powers or knows what she really is yet
I have to find out more about her. This was my mission and I'm going to finish it
"Emma?"
"Yeah?"
"How old are you?"
"16. Why?"
"No reason, just wanted to know."
No wonder why she didn't recognize me. I was right, she still hasn't got her powers. But when is she getting them? I got mine when I was 16.
"Louis!" She yells snapping me out of my thoughts
"Yeah?"
"I said were here, want to come in?"
"Sure" I smile
She opens the doors and waits for me to get in. We walk to the kitchen and put our things on the table
"Do you live here alone?" I ask
"No, I live here with my mom. She's just at work right now. She'll be here any minute. Want something to drink?"
"Sure." I answer when a lady walks into the kitchen too. I'm guessing that's her mom..?
She walks in without making eye contact and puts her bag on the table too
"Hey sweetie!"
"Hey mom, I want you to meet my new friend Louis" Emma introduces me, giving me a water bottle
Her mum looks at me and suddenly freezes. I hope she likes me
"Hello, nice to meet you" she lets out
"Nice to meet you too" I smile at her
She looks at me again then at Emma
"Emma can you go get my phone? I left it in the car"
"Sure, stay here okay?" She tells me as I nod
Just as Emma leaves her mum starts talking
"I know who you are. Why did you come here? She hasn't got her powers yet."
I was confused on what she was talking about till it hits me
The Lords Daughter..
"Wait, you know who I am?"
"Of course! Yo-" she stops before Emma walks in again
"Here you go mom" she gives her mom the phone
"Thanks, sweetie"
Emma nods "So, what were you talking about?"
