Chapter 3: Do I like him?

"Louise"

"Louise!"

.........

"LOUISE!!"

"What?!"

"Um..are you still here with me?"

"Oh, sorry Arth."

"Stop calling me Arth, plus, you've been staring at your coffee the whole time. Is there something wrong?"

"No, nothing's wrong. I am just thinking about someone."

We were in a café, chatting while drinking coffee.

"Wow, you're really honest, aren't you?", Arthea said while giggling.

"Really?", I smiled.

"So who's this person you've been thinking of?"

Honestly, I can't tell Arthea that Liam is that person. Well, I know she likes Liam and I don't want her to think of me as her rival.

"Can I ask you something?", I said nervously.

"Sure, what is it?"

"How do you know if you like someone?"

"Haha! I knew it! Louise has a crush!"

"H-hey! Stop it!"

"But, seriously, I am not sure too. Maybe if you think of him everytime or something else.", she explained

"Oh, is that so?"

So just that means I like Liam? Because I've been thinking of him lately. But I am not sure. Like as in friendly terms? Or something more than that?

"So, who's the lucky guy?"

"Someone you don't know." I lied.

"Really? Then how about introducing me to him? Sounds good right?"

"NO!"

"What do you mean no?", Arthea asked.

"N-no. I guess it's too early for you to know him. Plus, I am not real sure if I do like him.", I said

"Fine."

We awkwardly exited the coffee shop and went to the mall.

"You know what Louise? You need some shopping.", Arthea blurted out.

"Yeah, but I need money.", I laughed

"Stop being so funny. I'll treat you, is that okay?"

"It's always fine with me though. How about you?", I sarcasticly asked.

"It's also fine"

We went to the department store and browsed some new released clothes.
All of them were pretty but nothing satisfied my taste.

"I guess none of this fits your taste.", Arthea said.

"Well, yeah."

"Then how about helping me?", she replied

"Fine, where are you going anyways?"

"I'm going out on a date."

"D-DATE?! WITH WHO?!", I exclaimed.

"Um..with Liam Lancaster."

Wait, this isn't right. Liam? He's going out on a date with Arthea? I don't know but somehow it saddened me. I should not feel this way, I should be happy for Arthea. But why do I feel hurt?
