Later that day, when everyone was awake, it started to rain. It looked horrible outside, thunder, lightning, and hail. Jongin sighed from his sitting position on the couch. He was wearing his favorite grey and blue aeroposter sweatpants and a navy blue wife beater to match.
The large group of men were bored, spread out around the living room, and absent mindedly watching Pororo.
"Kyungsoo," Jongin called and said man looked to him. "Come here."
Kyungsoo rolled off the side chair he was draped over and crawled to Jongin, "Hey."
"Sit next to me?" He said hopefully.
Kyungsoo shrugged and stood up, then laid down on top of Jongin, his head burrowing into the younger's neck. Kyungsoo sat there for a moment taking in Jongin's sent then turned back to the television. "Close enough." Jongin said wrapping an arm around the man.
A flash of light and the television cut out not soon after. A huge wave of thunder shook the house and Jongin let out a small yelp. Kyungsoo pulled back from him and looked confused at him.
"What was-?" Kyungsoo stop talking as soon as he realized Jongin was on the brink of tears. "Are you...?"
Kyungsoo dipped his head down to whisper in Jongin's ear, "Afraid of a little thunder?"
Jongin nodded vigorously. Kyungsoo pulled back again and fully stood up. He made Jongin sit up and then sat behind him. Jongin took advantage of it and curled up like a cat in Kyungsoo's lap.
"I love how you guys are taking up the whole couch." Jongdae commented bitterly from the ground. He was laying in front of the ottoman on his back with his boyfriend next to him.
"I love how you just ruined a perfect moment." Kyungsoo shot back.
"Ouch. I think Kyungsoo won, baby." Minseok smiled at his boyfriend next to him. Jongdae scowled, trying to ignore the snickers that came from the rest of the large group. Even Junmyeon, who was deeply involved in his book with a sleepy yixing at his side, laughed.
Jongin flinched as another flash of light passed the window and a roll of thunder quickened the beat of his heart. Kyungsoo put his arms around him and his head on Jongin's shoulder. "It's okay..." He whispered into Jongin's ear.
Jongin sighed and turned to kiss Kyungsoo quickly on the lips. He looked the older boy in the eyes and said, "Thank you, hyung, for being here," with a small smile.
Kyungsoo blushed a little bit. "I'm always here for you, idiot."
