"I think we should put her in a better school" My mom had just put me to bed it was only 9:00 and I had sure enough put up a fight that would put Mike Tyson to shame. "Ethan,we just got done training her how to use the potty. why go though the more trouble of keeping her safe?" Ethan,my dad,had already had a school pick out and everything.he always thought the more education I had the better I'll be. "You know what I always say about being safe." He said leaning on the marble counter with a smirk on his face. "No matter where you are safe I never a word" She had put up both her hands and moved in a manner of him blabbering. "Anyway, look at this opportunity for Reyna to-" "Mommy, daddy are you in here?" Both of turned and looked at the door,as I walked in holding my purple blanket, red eyed, and scared beyond my life. "What's wrong honey?" He held his arms out as I walked(more like waddle) into his arms and he picked me up. "It's dark in there and stuff keeps hitting the glass thing" "What about your light night?" Ivy,my mom,was the type of person to ask questions no matter big or small. "It not bright enough." I bawled up my fist to wipe away the left over tears. Ethan looked at my mom and saw how tired she was "How about why don't I talk to you till you fall asleep?" My eyes brighten up at the suggestion. I always loved when my dad and I would talk till I slept. it always left good dreams in my head. at least that's what I thought. "Okay then lets go" He put me down I started to speed walk to my room. While still in ear shot I could hear my mom say thank you. Bout time I got into the bed again he walked in. Laid on the floor next to my bed while I gave him a pillow to lay his head on. "Thank sweetie, now what shall we talk about tonight?" "I don't know" He laughed "How about we talk about books." "Okay!" "I'll go first my favorite book is teal skys " "That sounds pretty daddy,my favorite book is the moon light princess." He shifted as if he was looking under my bed "Mm tell me about it" "It's about a princess who lives bright sun shiny place but she can never sleep,so she ask up above for something to help her sleep and they gave her the night sky-" My story was interrupted by the sound of snoring. Dad was fast asleep with drool going off to the side. Slowly I got up and went over to the closest to pull out an extra blanket for him. Carefully I placed the blanket on him like mom does me when I'm asleep on the couch. When I got back in my bed I wasn't scared anymore cause I had someone keep me safe. Even if they snored like a dinosaur.
