6 months later...

Michael's POV

Leo and I have been pretty close since mom went to go get better. Today was my birthday, July 17. Leo took me out to the arcade and got me some ice cream and and huge Batman cake. He didn't invite anyone to the house. He said he had a surprise for me. We listened to some music for a while until he rolled in the cake. He and I sang Happy Birthday and I blew out the candles.

Leo- What did you wish for?

"I want mom to come home...."

Leo- well Michael I think I can help you with that...

"What do you mean?"

Leo- Come on out, Skye!

Mom comes out of nowhere and we run in for a big hug.

"Mom! I missed you!"

Mom- Did you have fun?

"Yeah, Dad was the coolest!"

Leo- Did you just call me 'Dad' ?

"Yeah, you were awesome and I've grown to like you."

He comes over, picks me up, and spins me around.

This was the best 6th birthday party ever!

Leo's POV

"Skye, you look really good..."

Skye- Thanks Leo, now what did you wanna talk to me about?

"I wanna talk about Michael.."

Skye- What about him?

Leo- We need to start enrolling him in school. That way, he can learn all he needs to know and make a couple of friends, too. Also I just wanted to know if you guys were staying here, or if you were leaving...

Skye- Staying, of course! Why would you think we'd wanna leave? Michael loves spending time with you, and I, I-....nevermind.

"Skye, I just wanna let you know that I am extremely sorry for.hurting you, babe. I know I messed up, and I kept cheating on you with other girls, especially your arch enemy. I was being rude and selfish, never thinking about what you wanted, or how you felt. I would always get angry when I think about how I always ignored what you had to say. At the time, I never cared to listen, and you deserved my attention every second of the day. I missed you Skye when you got kidnapped.When I read your note, it hurt me and I realized that I had someone great that I had lost forever. I searched for 5 years looking for you, but every time I looked, I lost more and more hope of finding you. All those years of searching for you made me realize that you were the most important thing to me. I want us to get better....as a family...All I'm asking for is another chance..."

Skye- I don't know what to say...

"Say yes..."
