After hours of puzzles and exploring , you reached a small kind looking house with a large back tree. Toriel was standing in front of the house.

"Oh dear that took longer than I thought it would."
She said to her self before she took her phone out.
Toriel then saw you and quickly ran over to you, worry on her face as she quickly put her phone away.

"How did you get here, my child? Are you hurt?"
Toriel asked you in a concerned voice.

"Only a little."
You honestly told Toriel.

"There there I will heal you. I should not have left you alone for so long. It was irresponsible to try to surprise you like this."
Toriel said to you sounding slightly ashamed.

"Err..."
Toriel slightly blushed before she continued.

"Well, I suppose I cannot hide it any longer. Come small one."
Toriel said before she started to walk. Letting out a sigh of relief you followed Toriel as she led you to the small house.

Once you entered the house the gentle warmth wrapped around you in a welcoming manner.

"Do you smell that?
"Surprise!"

The pleasant smell of some sort of pie or cake cooking hit your senses made your mouth slightly water.

"It is a butterscotch- cinnamon pie. I thought we might celebrate your arrival. I want you to have a nice time living here. So I will hold off on snail pie for tonight."
Toriel informed you.

You really liked Toriel she was very polite to you ever since she met you and was very welcoming she was almost like a mother figure to you. You was very grateful to her.

"Here. I have another surprise for you."
Toriel mentioned before she walked to her right, down a hallway. The hallway was yellow.

Toriel led you to a door before she said,
"A room of your own. I hope you like it!"

Toriel then patted your head before she said,
"Is something burning...? Um, make yourself at home."

Toriel then walked off. Walking towards the door, you opened it slowly before you stepped in the room.

It was orange and small but neat with a lampshade in the left corner, next to the lamp was a chest and then a shelve. On the right hand side was a lamp and a bed with a wardrobe next to it.

Yawning you went into the bed, it was very comfortable to lay in. Closing your eyes, you smiled before you drifted off to sleep.

-2 hours later-

Slowly you got out of bed and made it. On the the floor was a slice of pie that was cooking earlier. Carefully you picked it up before walking out of the room. You then continued to walk until you entered a tidy room.

It had medium sized fire place that a warm fire was burning in, next to the fireplace was Toriel, sitting on a chair as she red some kind of book that must of been form the large bookshelf that was in the room. Walking up to Toriel, she looked up from her book and at you as she asked,
"Up already, I see?"

"Yeah."
You replied.

"Um, I want you to know how glad I am to have someone here. There are so many old books I want to share. I want to show you my favorite bug-hunting spot. I've also prepared a curriculum for your education. This may come as a surprise to you... but I have always wanted to be a teacher....actually, perhaps that isn't very surprising."

Toriel told you as she looked back at her book. You was pleasantly surprised about how much she thought about you but you knew that you couldn't truly stay here forever, even if you wanted to.

"STILL. I am glad to have you living here. Oh did you want something?"

"Yeah I did."
You told Toriel as you looked at the ground.

"What is it?"
Toriel curiously asked you.
You paused for a moment before taking a deep breath and looking into her brown eyes again as she looked up at you.

"When can I go home, Toriel?"
You asked her causing her to change subject..

"Do you want to here about the '72 uses of snails' book that I'm reading?"
Toriel asked you politely with a hint of worry in her voice.

Slowly you replied feeling worried,
"I'm sorry Toriel but....how do I exit the RUINS?"

"I have to do something. Stay here."
Toriel answered quickly, putting her book and glasses down before hurriedly walking off.
You walked out of the room and noticed a flight of brown stairs, curiously you walked down them as Toriel was now where in sight.

Once at the bottom, you saw a long purple hallway and Toriel standing near the entrance and you decided to approach her.

"You wish to know how to return "home" do you not?"
Toriel questioned you as she kept her back facing you.

"Ahead of us lies the end of the RUINS. A one way exit to the rest of the underground. I'm going to destroy it. No one will ever be able to leave again. Now be a good child and go upstairs."

Toriel told you before continuing to walk down the hallway. Hurriedly you followed her.
"But Toriel...."
You said before cutting yourself off and continuing to follow her before she stood still again.

"Every human that falls down here meets the same fate. I have seen it again and again. They come. They leave. They die."
Toriel said sounding sad.

You looked at Toriel before you said calmly,
"I might be able to survive Toriel."

Toriel seriously said to you,
"You naive child... If you leave the RUINS...They.... Asgore.... will kill you. I am only protecting you, do you understand?.
"....Go to your room."

Who's Asgore? You thought to your self. You understood what Toriel was doing and why but.... but you just wanted a little freedom. even if you couldn't go straight home.
Toriel once more walked off. The hallway went to a corner before going straightforwards again. At the corner Toriel briefly stopped and

"Do not try and stop me. This is your final warning."
She then walked again. You paused for a moment, hesitant to push your luck. Shaking off the thoughts you followed her.
Both of you then entered a medium sized room with double doors with a symbol on them that Toriel was standing in front of.

"You want to leave so badly? Hmph. You are just like the others. There is only one solution to this."
