Victoria's POV
She grunts as she helps Anna, dragging the heavy load of fish out of the water that they've caught in the big net of theirs, now on the soft sand, unmoved.
She cracks her back and neck out of habit, and she then sighs deeply.
"Ugh, this heat just kills me," she says, as she swipped a few drops of sweat that she had streaming down on the side of her face.
"Ugh, these gloves are so freakin' annoying and making my hands become sweaty," she complained, sliding them off slowly as she said that.
Victoria has the same work clothes on as Anna. The shirt had a patch saying "Stop n' Gurgle" on her left breast pocket above her name in cursive font. Tanned skin she had, roughly five foot, fit enough to be a soccer or volleyball player, long wavy caramel hair but it's in a ponytail at the moment, high cheek bones, one dimple on her right cheek, emerald eyes, shorts for work was a tan like color, and she was barefooted while on the soft sand.
Anna's POV
Anna is a bit pale skinned, long straight shiney black hair of course in a ponytail, more of a hazel eye color, seem pretty fit like Victoria, dimples on both cheeks and her chin, high cheekbones, long eyelashes, same height as Victoria and also barefooted in the sand.
Sitting on the sand cross-legged, she sighs,"I know, Tori, just by looking at the sun, we have another hour or so until we're done working for today. Before you know it, it will be time for us to check out and definitely get to relax after and then get Ice cream and then. . . and then . . ." Her voice trails off dreamingly, day-dreaming of ice cream with her eyes opened, mouth closed while she stares out in front of her at the sand.
Victoria waves her hand in front of Anna's face to get her attention, asking, "Hellooooo?? Earth to Annaaaaa, can you hear meeeeee???" Victoria giggled as she smiled," Sigh, yup, I've lost you."
Anna shook her head quickly with her eyelids closed and then stopped, now looking up at Victoria.
"Oh, hi, Tori," she pauses " I was...just day-dreaming about Ice cream," She blushed.
Victoria just rolled her eyes playfully as she sits in front of Anna. Anna smiles and had the manage to playfully push Tori backwards after she sat down, saying," Yes, you knew that, of course. Especially of how long we've known each other."
They both giggled and smiled but then they suddenly heard a giggle and rustling noices where the bushes were at, causing them to stop and froze like statues, staring eye wide at each other.
I know these were a bit short, but hopefully I can make the upcoming chapters bit more longer for you all(:
