The Unspoken Secret

Chapter 2

~Jinx POV~

Dang that that girl Kira was really pretty, hopefully I wasn't being flirty because that would be a little nerve wracking. Btw yes I am bi nobody really knows except my younger sister Kelly, when I told her she kinda freaked out but was happy if I was happy.

After I walked away from Kira I walked to my bus stop and waited until my bus showed up, as it pulled up these girls from my school started poking me and calling me names. It hurt my feelings but I just ignored it and put my ear and turned up my music loudly so that I couldn't hear anybody talking to me. When I got to school I stepped off the bus and saw her, the one girl I never wanted to see again after what she did to me. She passed by me and smiled like nothing has happened to me....what exactly do I do? I walked to class cause I was going to be late if I didn't start heading to class now since my bus was late this morning, I get into class and see that on the monitor is a seating chart so I go to where my seat is and sit. As I take my headphone out of my ears I hear one of those girls from my bus that harass me start being rude to someone else, I look up from my backpack and see Kira with tears in her eyes. I wanted to hurt those girls so much for being rude to Kira but I can't really do anything without my secret getting out about my sexuality.

~~~~~At lunch around noon~~~~~

As the bell rings to tell people to go to lunch I go straight to the cafeteria and get my food then go sit in the courtyard since it was really nice outside. As I start to sit down I feel my phone vibrate and say I got a text from an unknown number,

Unknown: Hello Jinx, you don't know me but I know you and I know your big secret that you don't want anybody to know. If you want me to stay hidden and your secret to stay a secret then stay away from Kira, if you don't stay away there will be consequences.

I started freaking out and immediately threw my lunch away and ran inside to the bathroom...who was that person who texted me? Why did they text me? Why doesn't that person want me anywhere Kira, I hardly know her. I actually just met her those morning lol oh well I won't let this person whoever it is bother me and push me around and treat me like I'm a piece of trash that they are throwing away.

~~~~After school~~~~

I walked home since I missed the bus and when I got home I saw Kira getting out of her car down the street and so I decided to walk over to her and see how she was. But as soon as I got over to her she looked like she had been crying....

Jinx: Kira are you okay? You look like you've been crying
Kira: I have been crying...these girls were calling me names in class and I just feel like now that I'm the new kid everybody will just beat me down and hurt me just like those girls did today.

I then saw her starting to cry and I didn't know exactly what to do but then she looked up and I saw this flicker in her eyes that made me want to just hold her and help her out with all her problems

Jinx: I will keep them away from you, I will do everything I can to keep you safe from those girls.
Kira: You don't really have to do that Jinx, I just need to be stronger and defend myself against them. You are really sweet to try and help me out with them.
Jinx: I'm still sorry about those girls, they do the exact same thing to me but ten times worse....well I better get home before my parents start to worry something happened to me again. I'll see you around Kira, and tell me if those girls mess with you again because I will help you out to try and have a better life.

I walk away to my house after we say our goodbyes and go our separate ways. I just really hope I can change her life by protecting her, I don't want her getting hurt by those girls like I have for the past 3 years....
