The soft sound of her mother's footsteps did nothing to cease Arizona's crying. Even when the door eased open, revealing her mother's petite figure, the young child continued to cry and squirm in her small pink bed.

"What's wrong, Ari?" The smooth sound of the woman's voice calmed the child down at last and she lay under her bed covers. She looked expectantly at her mother with big blue eyes.

"I saw the man again, mommy." Arizona's voice wavered ever so slightly as she played over the haunting scene again in her head.

"What man?" Her mother's perfect brown eyebrows furrowed as she looked questioningly at her small daughter.

"The man in the white suit!" Arizona threw her hands in the air and brought them back down on the top of her head, doing her best to roll her eyes. "He came to tell me the story about the little boy and the duckling, like he did last night! I told you about it, remember?"

The woman sighed and glanced at the wooden floor before pursing her lips at the little girl and holding her small, warm hand in her's. She gave it a small squeeze before saying in a careful voice, "Ari, honey, no one came in your room tonight, last night, or the night before. We've been over this, baby. The only other people in this house is your brother, your father, and I. There is no man with a white suit."

Arizona huffed and looked away, tucking a rebel strand of wavy brown hair behind her ear.

Arizona's mother got the idea. Her little girl wasn't going to talk anymore on the subject. Little did she know, Arizona wasn't going to ever bring up the subject again.

"Goodnight, Arizona."

"Goodnight, mommy."
