Chapter 4

*Shawn*

I see three empty pill bottles beside the toilet and pick them up. I run downstairs yelling, "Taylor call an ambulance!" "I've got the bleeding under control, she'll be fine." "She's gonna die if you don't call a fucking ambulance!" I throw down the pill bottles and their eyes widen. Taylor pulls out his phone and calls 911 while Matt takes her outside to wait for the paramedics. A few minutes later, they pull up and put her on a gurney. "Name?" One of them asks and we all look at Amber. "Isabella Marie Michaels." "Okay, well, only one of you can ride with her but the rest of you can follow us to the hospital." "You're her sister." Mahogany looks at Amber and she shakes her head. "I want Matt to go." "Are you her boyfriend?" The paramedic asks and he shakes his head. "I wish..." He climbs in the ambulance with her and they close the doors. We all get in our cars and follow the ambulance. 

*Matt*

We got to the hospital and they immediately put Isabella in ICU. I walk out to the lobby to meet the others and sigh, burying my face in my hands. "What happened, anyway?" Taylor asks and I look up to listen to Amber. "She struggles with clinical depression. Before my dad died, she was on the meds and when he passed, Mom stopped paying for her prescription and said to hell with us." She explains and a nurse walks out. "Michaels?" We all stand up and she furrows her eyebrows. "You're all for Isabella?" We nod and she shakes her head. "I have no idea why she would be depressed if she has all of these hot guys around her." 

She leads us down the hall and glances back. "Any of you have a number I could get?" Cam puts his arm around Mahogany and shrugs. "I've got a girlfriend." Carter nods and pulls Amber into him. "So do I. That's my sister-in-law in there." "That's my girlfriend in there." Taylor adds. "What about you?" She turns to me. "I'm fucking 16." (A/N: I wrote this when Magcon first started so I won't change it.)

"I'd really appreciate it if you stop winking at my boyfriend and underage kids." Mahogany snaps and Amber nods. "Seriously, we're here for my sister, not for your thirsty ass." The nurse rolls her eyes and stops in front of a door. "This is her room." She says and Johnson steps up to her. "Amber's right. You're thirsty as fuck, can we get a new nurse?" She rolls her eyes again and walks off. We quietly walk into the room and since she's asleep, the others leave to the cafeteria. 

I stayed with her and a few hours later, Shawn walks in. "Why don't you go eat? I'll stay." I shake my head and he sighs. "You've been here for hours, Matt. You need to eat." "We can stay with her, Matt. Nothing's going to happen while you're gone." Hayes walks into the pale white hospital room and I shrug. "Fine." I'm hesitant but finally gave in, I was hungry.

*Isabella*

I woke up and heard whispering, it was Hayes and Shawn. "Hey guys." They turn to me and smile. "Oh thank god! We thought we lost you." Hayes runs out and returns with everyone but Matt. "Why didn't you let me die?" "Because regardless of the situation, we care about both of you." "Well, where's Matt?" "He hadn't eaten all day, he refused to leave you until about 20 minutes ago." Hayes responds. "The doctor said you could leave soon, he's putting you back on anti-depressants." Amber says and I nod. A nurse walks in and gives me a fake smile. What's her problem? "Your girlfriend's awake." She tells Taylor and I furrow my eyebrows. "I see that." He snaps and she walks out. 

"Girlfriend?" "It's a long story." Everyone replies in sync and I nod. "Okay."
