The Misery

Prologue

She was miserable. Her parents had abandoned her. She sat in the middle of the dusty road and wept...

Then she fell asleep. The next thing she knew, she was floating above the body, which was sprawled in the road. She must have left her body during her sleep. It looked as if it had been run over by a car. "How stupid!" She thought. Now she had no body to do physical things with,  so she silently drifted away.
