Swearing.
I will allow some amounts of swearing! Stuff like "Hell" and "Damn" are okay IF USED IN MODERATE AMOUNTS. You don't need to swear every other sentence. I'd appreciate it if you didn't use the more 'offending' words such as the f word though.
If I see too much swearing, or get too many complaints, I WILL ban it completely. So please use your freedom wisely.

No powers!
I do not want powers on this website. Powers tend to mess up the role-play, and if one person has powers everyone has to have powers. And then suddenly we're all super-cats.
Powers include: Healing powers (apart from natural herbs and TIME.), flying, wings and or other mutations, having lasers fire out of your eyes- anything that's UNNATURAL.

No power-playing!
If it wasn't obvious that "no powers" meant "no power-playing" this should keep things in check. Power-playing is more or less where your cat is perfect in every way. Cats get hurt in battle and that's that. You cannot dodge every attack, or be a super-strong cat who can just throw others around like they're ragdolls. Keep it realistic! Take as much damage as you deal to your enemy!

No reincarnations!
Cats simply do not come back to life UNLESS they are a leader and were given nine lives. Often when people allow people to have a few reincarnations, everyone forgets who used them up and who didn't and suddenly no new cats are in the clan because no one ever dies and stays dead. So I'm simply saying NO REINCARNATIONS unless I GRANT THEM.

No sexual language!
I don't care if your cats have mates and a family, that's all peachy. But no one wants to read the act of cats mating. We don't need any other details other than medicine cats helping the kits be born.
Also, PLEASE keep your kits in the nursery along with the queens! When cats are about to have kittens they find a place to stay and keep them there. In the books the kits stay in the nursery until they're old enough to be apprentices, or leave with their MOTHERS. No run away kits!

Actually do some work.
Try to actually BE a cat. Your cats aren't going to age up from a kit to an apprentice in a day or two. And if you're an apprentice, you HAVE to have at least a few days of 'training' under your belt before you become a warrior. This may have some exceptions to it depending on how active the members are, or just what members are free to take on apprentices.

Put effort into your posts.
We do not need loads of chatspeak in your posts. Try to keep it to a limit when in character. You don't need to have perfect grammar or sentence structure while role-playing, but a little bit of effort to make your post would be fantastic.

That said, I'm not too picky about which way you decide to rp. Just don't use first person, my god. You can use '**' to show action if you want. Go ahead.

User Rules

Users are limited to only having three cats in one clan., I rather prefer users to have at least one cat in the Clan, first.

Users can only join by asking first. It is nice to know who is in the Clan as who. Apprentice can ask for a mentor. New users cannot just claim someone as a mentor without asking.

User cannot take away some one else's spot. New users cannot to be leader or deputy but the spot is filled. Since all the spots are filled users who join will have to be warriors, apprentices, queens, elders or kits.

Users cant not mentor their own characters. A user must mentor another User's apprentice character.

Character Rules

Character must belong to the user; no one is allowed to use another player's character unless they are a background character. If it is something simple not out of character and no character talks then it is okay to have them in the background.

Character can only do things in reasonable capabilities. They can't do something impossible like going god mode where they can't die when they are morally wounded. Only leaders who have nine lives can come back to life but even they can become invisible. And if the leader loses their last life the deputy becomes leader and the user who owned the leader can make a new character but can't leader the clan anymore.

Characters can only become apprentices by ask for a mentor. The leader then has to ask one of the warriors to be the apprentice's mentor. If they agree than everythings works out find. Or the appentice can ask a warrior if they would like to be their mentor.

Characters can only become mates with another character if the user of the other character agrees. If both of you role playing characters decide to be mates, than that is okay. You may roleplay it out, as well.

Characters can't kill someone else's character unless they wish so. That way people don't kill a character who the user wishes to keep using. Hinting at a possible death is okay but can't not say that character died. Only the character's owner can wish to take the opportuiny to have thier character die or not.

Additional Rules

Names
You may only have a name that is appropriate for your Clan or rank, and a name from the books, or that the cats could know about. For example, no names related to Twolegs or something that the cats wouldn't know, like Citypelt, Galaxyfur, Butterwing, Posterpaw, or anything like that. The name "star" is never allowed for the forest Clans, unless you are a leader and it is your suffix! Also, we only allow names such as "Fall," "Winter," "Summer," and "Spring" if you're using "spring" and "fall" in reference to the action of springing or falling. But cats do not know what "winter," "summer" or "autumn" are! This goes only for Clan cats! (If you are a kittypet who has joined a Clan, or have an otherwise convincing backstory, you may keep your name. The leader of the clan can choose to make you change it, however.)

Talents & Flaws
Your character, of course, can have talents, but with those, they also must have flaws. You cannot be good at hunting, climbing, running, swimming, healing, jumping, and fighting all at once. You may pick one or two that you excel in. Otherwise, you are basically a super-cat, which is boring for everyone that is role-playing with you. If you make a kit, you cannot say that they are good at fighting or hunting because they aren't allowed to know how. However, you could say that according to their build, they will likely make a good fighter or hunter in the future.

Color
Your cat is only allowed to be of natural color, such as grey, yellow, black, brown, white, etc.) and any shade of those colors, although you can have whatever colored eyes you want. If you say that your cat is red or blue, I will assume you mean a blue-grey, and an orange-red. Crazy colors like green, neon yellow or electric blue will not be allowed. You are allowed to mix colors in any random way you want, though (black with cream spots, brown with grey stripes, etc.).

High-ranks must be active
They must be on daily with very few exceptions (academic activities, groundings, etc). If a high-rank disappears without notice they risk being de-ranked depending on their activity before the disappearance. High-ranks suspected of inactivity will get at least one warning and 2-weeks grace time to respond before they are de-ranked from their title. A high-rank may be required to send in a weekly report to the Admin of that specific Clan/Group at the admin's discretion. If multiple reports are required and skipped, you risk being de-ranked.

Do not fail-rp: Like power-playing, fail-rp can be hard to spot at times. Fail-rp is when a player allows their own emotions to affect their character's emotions or actions to a drastic degree. The reverse can happen too. You should always be aware that your character, while yours, is someone else with a different life, different feelings, and different motives. Try your best not to let your feelings dictate their actions, but also try not to let something that happens in the RP bother you too much OOC.

Example: Person #1 had a disagreement with Person #2 recently, who plays the mate of Person #1's character. To get some kind of 'revenge' against Person #2, Person #1 has their character suddenly break up with Person #2's character.

We allow almost all cat breeds EXCEPT big cats. Obviously this is a small cat clan, and I tend to keep it that way for as long as I can. Please respect that.
