Chapter 6

{Flash back: Jack took you to his house after you showed him the note you found and you got a text message from an anonymous caller.}

Y/N's POV
You look at the text and you think about what to do. Just then, Jack enters.

"Hey. Are you ok?" You answer him with a yes and he drops it.

"The Chinese food will be here soon. What do you want to do while we wait?"

"How about... Video games?" You smile. You and Jack walk to the main room, sit on the couch and begin to play.

(Time skip 20 minutes later)

You hear a knock on the door and flinch. You still don't trust anything yet. Jack gets up and opens the door. Luckily, it's just the Chinese food delivery guy. He hands Jack the food who in return hands him the money required, before closing the door and walking back to the couch. Sitting down, he puts the bag on the coffee table. You open it and grab the food out.

"Where are the plates?" You ask.

"We don't need them, but if you want one I can get you one."

You shake you head, "No, but we do need forks." He gets up and grabs two forks handing one to you before you both dig in. He turns on Netflix and you watch [Your favorite TV show] while you eat and talk.

(Time skip)

You both finish up eating and you look at the clock. It's near midnight and you grab your garbage and throw it out.

"I should head to bed. I got work in the morning and I don't want to sleep in." You explain. Jack turns off the TV and throws out his garbage.

"I should too. I got a big day ahead of me." You head to the spare, now your room and you shut the door behind you. You change into your nightwear and lay on the bed while plugging in your phone. You lay there for a bit before falling asleep.

(Time skip to morning)

You wake up to your phone going off. You turn off the alarm and you grab some clothes, right before you get a text message.

(Beginning of text)
Boss 😒: You do not have to come in today we have construction going on so no one can be in the building.

Y/n: Ok. When are we allowed back?

Boss 😒: 2 or 3 days from now.

Y/N: Ok, see you then.
(End of conversation)

With that you go out to the main room and find Jack on the couch.

"Y/N! Morning. Do you want anything to eat?" Jack says.

"No thank you. But do you think I could shower?" He gets up and shows you to the bathroom and the little storage space that keeps the towels.

"Just turn the knob and than pull, but gently." He explains, before leaving. You do as he explained and then jump in the shower.

(Time skip)

You get out and get dressed. You then go to your room and look through you bag, grabbing some money out before walking to the main room. You walk over to Jack and you hand him the money.

"What's this for?" He asks.

"For dinner last night." You explain.

"That was my treat." He smile, handing the money back before standing up and heading for the kitchen. He grabs a cup and makes some coffee. You feel a buzz from your back pocket.

R/N: You should really stop hanging out with Jack or something... Bad, could happen. I will find you and I will get you if you don't.
(End of text)

You look at the text and you let out a deep breath. Jack seems to hear this and he walks over to you asking what's wrong.
