"Whats up? Is everything okay?"

"I don't know. Can I come over or you come over?"

"Yes Ill be there soon."

Matt arrived at the house 12 minutes later. He stomped up to my room swinging my door open and causing me to almost have a heart attack.

"God Matthew. Calm down will you?"

"Tell me whats up right now?" He walked over to my bed pulling my earbuds out and shutting my laptop.

"Reagan thinks I'm cheating on her.... with you." He raised his eyebrows and made a face that look disgusted.

"Thats absurd." The thing i like about matt is he is extremely smart without even realizing or acting like it. "That will never happen. You're not my type." He said moving his eyes and crossing his arms.

"Oh yeah Mr. 'Alpha Dog' and whats your type?" I said crossing my arms and looking at him.

"People like Liz or someone who is funny and nerdy and dorky and lame." I rolled my eyes. "The point is.... ew. We need to tell her that." He stood up and pulled me off my bed.

We arrived at Reagans apartment and one of her five roommates answered the door.

"Hey is Reagan here?"

"No im sorry Amy, didnt you hear?" I shrugged not knowing what shes was talking about and Matt stared at me.

"Hear what?" I asked.

"Reagan's brother... he was in a accident. He's unconscious."  I felt light headed and matt caught me. "Im so so sorry that you had to hear this from me but... shes moving back to San Antonio, to help her family." I regained my posture and then felt it again.

"Th-thanks." She closed the door and matt looked at me.

"what do we do now?" He asked.

"We go to San Antonio and explain." I said walking down the hall and heading to matts Toyota. 

Three and a half hours later matt and I arrived in San Antonio at Ally's house. I walked up to the door and Matt was behind me.

"Are you-" before he could finish I knocked and he turned around burying his head in his hands. "You couldn't even let me finish?" A few moments later Ally arrived wearing boy shorts and an extra large black T-Shirt that was unreadable.

"Amy... hi." She leaned against the door frame blocking the inside of the house and Matt looked at her in awe. "Is this Matt?" She asked eyeing him.

"Im Matthew Vincent." He said shaking hands with her. Matt has a crush.

"Is she here?" I asked while Ally was still studying matt.

"Um shes asleep right now. I can tell her you dropped by."

"No i need to see her now. I have school tomorrow and Matt and I have to get back." She looked down.

"Well she really needs to rest. Its been a bad day for her." I sighed. "She's actually at the hospital. Its downtown. I would drive you but im waiting for a... Friend." She gave us directions to the hospital. We arrived thirteen minutes and a nurse guided us to Tonys room. Reagan was in a chair next to his bed crying.

"Rea..." I said walking in quietly. "Hey are you okay? That was a really dumb question." I said walking further into the room. I looked at the unconscious 13 year old.

"No, no i mean im not but thank you for asking. What are you doing here?" She asked looking with puffy eyes and a red nose. I sat next to her.

"I came to see you and explain." She looked confused and matt came in. "Nothing going on here. Im gay and matts, matt." He looked offended and reagan laughed.

"What does that mean?" He asked in a joking manner.

"Nothing. In fact I think you would like him." I said and walked over to reagan. "I love you Reagan." I kissed her lightly and she kissed me back.

"I love you too."

We arrived at school the next day, me, Lauren, and Matt. Lauren and Matt were getting along really, really well. She was making fun of him when we left for my locker. We saw Karma and Garrett and they were laughing and he was smiling. She kissed his cheek and headed for the locker hall.

"Hey Amy." She said as she approached me. Matt stopped talking and leaned against my locker. "So um I know you dont want to talk but-"

"Nothing. I hoped you have a good rest of your life Karma please leave me alone." She bowed her head and walked away. I turned back to Matt who was leaning revealing his scar on his bicep.

"Are you ever going to tell me about that?" I asked and he looked at his arm when I pointed at it.

"Oh this, its nothing." He said pulling the sleeves of his muscles shirt up getting 'ohs' and   'Ahs' from the girls around us. He waved at them and they made girly noises.

"I got it when Tristan died. They removed something from my arm." He said and we walked away.

"What?"

"A knife." He finished and walked away.

"I love you too reagan. When are you coming home?"

"I don't know but soon i promise." I sighed and shut my laptop. "Hes still unconscious. I have to go I love you and ill be home soon."  She hung up and I sighed. It had been a whole week.

"Dinners ready." I walked downstairs and Matt was already laughing with my parents and Lauren was smiling.

"Okay who are and what did you do with Lauren?" I stopped and she looked at me.

"Nothing." I rolled my eyes and we ate.

"It was nice to meet you Matthew."he smiled and shook there hands.

"You too!" We walked to the porch and he kissed my forehead. "That was fun." I rolled my eyes and he backed away.

"That was embarrassing." He laughed at me and headed down the steps.

"Ill see you tomorrow babycakes?"

"See ya Alpha dog." He hopped in his car and left. I was happy.

"Hey We like matt."

"I can tell." We all watched a movie and Lauren and I went to bed smiling.

"Goodnight Lauren." I said while walking with her.

"Goodnight Amy. Ill see you tomorrow." She went into her room and we both closed the bathroom doors.

"Tomorrow." I said closing my door and landing on my bed.
