At the yogurt place we continued with our little chat.
"Have any siblings?" I asked but he just looked down at his yogurt and ate another bite. "Erm.. Ok." I joined him in his silence.
"Hey we will be closing in ten minutes" the cashier warned us. I turned on my phone to check the time. It was already 8:20. Time really passes when I'm with him. I took a glance back at Damian. His red locks hid his face which made him look like he was deep in thought. As I reached out and touched his shoulder he flinched and turned his head to me. "Oh I'm sorry. I just thought we should leave and get home. It was fun though. We should do it again" I smiled and grabbed the keys to my car.
I got into the car and cursed myself as I had forgotten to get his number. He was a really nice guy and I wished I could get to know him better. Not to mention his eyes are as blue as the ocean- I mean his jawline was as sharp as a knife- I mean.... I liked his shirt? Yea. His shirt was a cool shirt. What did his shirt look like again? Damnet...The next day was a blur of sleeping through classes and snacking on Cheetos that were hidden in my back pack. Jack woke me up a few times and in returned I gave him a very salty look and rested my head back down. What can I say? I was up all night because I was thinking about Damien and why he didn't answer me when I asked him about his siblings. I couldn't help but wondering if his siblings did something awful to him or if they died or something of the sort.
That reminded me that I hadn't seen Damian all day. Even during lunch he wasn't with his group of friends, where I sat. Maybe he was sick, or maybe he decided to ditch today. There were many reasonable explanations as to why he wasn't at school. But being reminded of the mood he was in when we parted last night, only made me worry. I decided to get Damian's number from one of his friends, but after asking all of them, none of them knew it. It felt strange so I asked how long they've known him and most of them told me two years. Two years and they didn't get his number... Maybe he did t even have a phone. How mysterious this guy is.
I hope he comes back tomorrow.
