First encounter

Emma's p.o.v

"W-what is that growling?" I asked my mum, stuttering in fear, I had no idea what it was. "Probably a wolf dear" my mum whispered, she was hiding something then the growling got louder and then, gone. Just like that! Suddenly Kahn appeared from outside, he stepped out and turned straight into the kitchen, why the hell is he in my house? "Sorry about that, someone's stupid dog chased me across and into your garden, I manage to scare the dog off by wafting my arms about, stupid mutt!" He spoke, odd, dogs don't usually growl like that, do they?

"Get out!" I snapped at him. He just looked at me, then at my mum then walked back outside and climbed over the fence, does he have a death wish or something?

Later that night...

Kahn's p.o.v

Full moon, yay. I change every full moon however I can change at will now but I'd rather not unless need be. I'd decided I'd take a walk through the woods and change in the woods, better being safe than sorry, you never know who's following you.

I'd got to the woods and started to get lost in my imagination, then I remembered the run in with Emma and her mum Abigail. I take it Abigail hasn't told Emma her little secret...

Emma's p.o.v

Finally, a moment I can get away from my annoying family urgh!! My mum has been trying to speak to me all day but she won't speak in public so she wants to speak to me on my own but we never get the chance to talk.

I never realised how creepy the woods can be at night, then I heard it. Howling, very deep howling...

Then I saw Kahn emerge from the shadows, he had black trousers on and a black top, he had no shoes on, unusual? Then he just stared at me then finally said "you shouldn't be here" what?

"Why?" I asked, sharpness in my voice.

"It's a full moon" he said casually. What did he think he was? A werewolf? They're not real for goodness sake!

" and?" I said "what's so bad about it being a full moon?"

"Do you want to become the prey?" Prey?

"What? What are you talking about!" I snapped, losing my temper.

Then in a split second, he was right in front of me, so close I could feel his breath against my neck. "Do you want to die?" He asked.

"N-no" I whispered, I felt threatened by him, but what was he gonna do, pinch me? There was something odd about Kahn.

"Then you should leave, I can't control it much longer" he growled lowly. Why the hell is he growling? He's not a wolf!

"Control what?" I spoke

"This-" he said then I heard the cracking of bones and the stretching of skin...
