"Manik" She whispered in a helpless voice. She was sitting beside him, holding his hands while he was lying on the bed with blank face. No expressions.

Two hours. Two hours since he was unconscious. But this two hours felt like two decades to Nandini. When she saw him in that heart wrenching state, her heart died million times. It was so painful to see him like that. Thankfully, he hadn't cut himself deep and was unconscious just because of panic attack. But Only she knows how she managed to bandage him when her own hands were shivering. Only she knows how she called the senior doctors. Only she knows how she felt when she saw him fell unconscious.

"Doc.." Manik whispered breaking her trance. She looked at him in a jerk, relief enveloping her body. Listening his voice calmed her raging heart.

"Manik.." She also whispered, hoping that he would give one of those dazzling smile to her. He was not able to open his eyes fully because of heavy sedatives.

"Why did you do that?" She asked.

"I-I don't know. I was about to sleep when my phone buzzed with a message and it said that th-they needed my sig-signatures in some important papers and...." He left his sentence incomplete as the memories again came back to haunt him. His hands started shivering and sweat beads formed on his forehead.

Seeing his state, she quickly held his hands between her palm and started rubbing it affectionately.

"Manik.. calm down. Its okay." She said.

"No! Nothing is okay." He whispered.

"Everything is okay Manik. You just need to come out of your illusion." She said caressing his cheek.

"No! They hate me. They hate me." He said as tears trickled down his eyes.

"Forget about them. There are so many people who loves you." She said while her hands ruffled his hair.

"Really?" He asked. Knowingly or unknowingly, Nandini was the one who was calming him down. She was doing the thing, which no one was able to do.

"Yes" She pointed her finger to the glass on the door through which he can see the children and oldies of the hospital waiting for him to gain consciousness.

"See how many people loves you. And you know all the doctors are continuously budging me to inform them about your health." Listening her, a smile finally spread across his face.

"Manik you just need to give yourself a chance. A chance to live again. You are such an amazing person. Just stop pitying yourself. You have your whole life in front of you. Try finding happiness in small small things. Why are you spoiling your life for the people who never cared for you. They don't deserve your love. Open your eyes and see the truth. Life is much more beautiful. Just let your pain out." Saying so she got up to leave when a familiar hand held her wrist to stop her from going.

"Tumne itna kuch keh diya... but don't you think that there should be someone to live for. Every man needs a support system." He said looking directly in her eyes. He was finding answers to his questions.

"Vo support system.. vo insaan ko to tumhe khud hi dhoondna hoga. But i can promise you that vo person bhi tumhara wait kar raha hoga." She said softly, looking back in his eyes. Giving him the answers of the question. She again turned back to go but again he stopped her.

"Ek aur question.. How do i let my pain out? How can i live again?" He asked and she can see that there was a spark in his eyes. A new hope. Her words did left a huge impact on him. Her words were Magical.
