The gang continued travelling and finally reached the venue to where the dance party that Monsieur Pierre was hosting. Sadly, Clemont was Serena's partner due to Bunnelby being his pokemon and Eevee felt more comfortable towards him than Pikachu. Serena was feeling excited, the fact that she had encountered Aria before Ash battled Clemont a while back made her curious. Would she remember me? She questioned herself but her thoughts were interrupted by her worst nightmare.

Serena

"So Serena, how is the challenge going?" a startling voice from behind me interrupted my thoughts, I jumped in the air a little and turned to see who it was.

Yeah, I regret that decision.

It was no other than my rival Miette.

"Oh, Miette! Its glad to see you!" Ash said enthusiastically.

Oh my Arceus, Help me.

"You know Ash, I don't really have partner for the dance," she started, tapping her foot and playing with her fingers.
"So...if its not a big deal, Can you be my partner?" She said with stars in her eyes. I dropped my jaw.

"Sure! I guess..."Ash said while itching his nose. I fell anime style.

I'm just dreaming right? This isn't happening.

"Serena? What happened to you?" Ash said while lending me a hand.

"I accidentally tripped on my own feet." I said lying while smiling lightly and scratching the back of my head.

"Guys! Are we going to just stand here to whole day or are we going inside and register? Because it seems neither of you wanted to do the latter." Bonnie said getting impatient.

"Bonnie is right, the event is going to start soon." Clemont said while adjusting his glasses.

"So, what are we waiting for? Come along now Ashy." Miette said while dragging Ash and Slurpuff did the same to Pikachu.

I sighed sadly,"Let's get going." I said while leading the siblings inside.

"You have now been registered, you can rent some outfits over there." the receptionist said

"Oh! I forgot, take these cards with you, you're going to need it." she added with a smile on her face. After she said that Miette immediately and once again dragged Ash along with her.

"Thank you so much!" I replied to her politely and went to check on the rentals. Gaping at all of the varieties. In the corner of my eye I saw Miette already picking dresses.

Ash

"Are you done now? My arms hurt." I whined.

"Nope, I think I'm going to get five more, or maybe six or seven..." her voice trailed off.

I looked around and saw Serena helping Clemont and Bonnie pick their outfits, I smiled to myself.

When I turned around I was suddenly greeted with mountain of dresses.

"Okay! I'm now done!" Miette said, Finally.

"Oh wait! that one looks nice!" she ran off behind me.

Why did I even agree on this...
