Kyungsoo never liked the building next to his. Who decided to put an apartment building so close to another that there was no such thing of privacy? It has always been that way since he moved into his apartment nearly two years ago. The male doesn't remember why he didn't see the poorly placed building next to it and how he just brushed it off. What made it so miserable was the fact the his kitchen window was directly across the window of the bedroom of the creeping apartment building, but that isn't what made it worse: it was the person that lived there. Kyungsoo hated that man with an undying passion.

He hated when he was watering his flowers to see some old reruns of some American cartoon show that was on full blast or when he fixes his dinner that night just to hear the man screaming and the gunshots of a videogame that he overplays. He doesn't need the added stress from that annoying old man and his stupid obsessions.

The moment that Kyungsoo discovered that he doesn't hear gunshots and the nasty shows, he thought he was being blessed by the gods and he has never been so excited to be home from college or work. He enjoyed waking up in the morning and going to water his flowers and not hearing or seeing the old man across from him. Kyungsoo loved coming home to his apartment to fix himself some dinner and going to sleep without regretting even stepping in front of his window. The small male wished this would never end.

Kyungsoo returned from work later than expected and he didn't enjoy that part of work at a gas station that didn't close until everyone is gone. Who just decided that a Friday night is a good night to go hangout at gas station and stay there for two hours without buying anything?!

He groaned as he threw his jacket across his living room and headed into the kitchen to fix himself something to eat. The male took a package of ramen from his cabinet then took a bowl. Walking to the sink, he noticed that the window across from his own had its light on and a figure was moving into it from another room. Once his eyes focused on the figure, he saw something that made the small male blush.

There was a sun-kissed male with platinum hair standing in the view of the other's window only wearing a towel around his waist. The water flowed down the muscles of the male causing them to have an added effect that didn't help at all. Kyungsoo stared upon this majestic being in front of him that he couldn't look away. Without him noticing, the new male turned around to face the paler male, and they made eye contact with each other.

Oh shit. Kyungsoo's eyes widen at the fact that the front of the said male looked as twice as better than the back. The two males just stared at each other for a long minute before Kyungsoo snapped at of it. What was he thinking? Why the hell did they stared at each other for so long? He moved his eyes to the sink and dropped the package ramen into the sink without thinking. He left the kitchen with a quicken pace and seeked safety from naked male in his room.

The short male flopped down onto his bed with a gentle bounce. He grabbed his pillow and smushed his face into, trying to hide his blushing face even though no one was there to see it. He had a desire to scream into the pillow but his voice didn't permit it because sleep creeped up on him, calming him.

The next morning, Kyungsoo woke up in his gas station uniform causing him to be slightly confused why the hell he didn't change from his work attire to his comfy pjs. As soon as the thought appeared in his the memory of the tan, half naked male in the window.

He crawled out of bed with little effort and moved into the bathroom to take shower. After the shower, he got dressed in his 'around the house' clothes, as he calls it. The brown-haired male walked into the kitchen with tread of seeing the stranger. He moved to sink to the see the unpackage ramen that he left there in shock, leaving him to let out a long sigh before getting a cup that sat beside the cat cookie jar. He poured some water into the cup then opening the window to reveal the windowsill flowers. The male looked up at the window, where he saw the stranger, to noticed him there, getting up from his bed.

He started to panic when he saw that stranger was going to open the window. "Hello." Kyungsoo heard the stranger say to him once the window was lifted up.

His voice was like caramel, it was smooth and deep leading the pale male to be less tense from what happened the night before. "H-hi." He responded, trying to give a proper response. Let's say it was a complete fail.

"I am,well, I'm sorry about what happened. I didn't mean to make you freak out and stuff." The stranger apologized to him, thumbing the metal grooves.

Kyungsoo stared at him for a moment before responding, "Oh, it's fine." He replied while he poured the water into the pot, "It's wasn't that awkward, I mean, I just saw you half naked in front of my window." Kyungsoo gave out a laugh that sounded weak, he facepalmed himself mentally

"Right," The tanned male responded, "I'm Kim Jongin, by the way. I am your new 'neighbor,'" He did air quotes when he said neighbor.

"Yes." He paused for moment, 'neighbor',I think I like you better than the last guy that lived there before." He states after the short pause.

Jongin rose his left brow, leaning in slightly to point the Kyungsoo thought he would fall out any moment now. "Why is that?" He asks with curiosity leaking through his white teeth

Kyungsoo looked at him before speaking again. "Well, he was really loud. I mean who plays Call of Duty at 3 o'clock in the morning and yelling bloody murder at the screen. Or watch the same episode of a stupid American cartoon show at the break of dawn!" The male ranted, raising his level of his voice. "I was really happy when he moved out." He adds, lowering it back down a bit.

The tan blonde smiled at him, "Well, you don't have to worry about that anymore. I don't really play video games or watch cartoons so you're good there. I mostly go to work or study my head off."

Kyungsoo agreed with him because that is all he does too. Working at a gas station in the dead hours of the nights and going to Uni to get a degree to be teacher is hard work and time consuming, it drives the poor boy up the wall and back because of the work hours plus studying. It isn't that he completely hates it, for some reason not having a lot of time on his hands gives a sense of success in his life.

"What university are you going to?" Kyungsoo ended up asking his neighbor.

"I go to the university for dance." Jongin answers, placing his elbow on the windowsill. "What about you?"

"The university that is a few blocks from here. I want to get my degree in education so I can teach little ones. Also, I heard that it is the best school to get that type of degree. " Kyungsoo informed the other.

Kyungsoo noticed that Jongin glanced down to, what he supposed, was his phone and looked back up at him. "I have to go soon for work," Jongin sounded either disappointed at the fact he had to go and get ready. He was slightly confused why though but strangely he thought the same way.

"Oh,okay." Kyungsoo started to move to close the window but he was cut off before he did.

"Hey! I didn't get your name!" Jongin shouted at him, catching his attention.

Kyungsoo stared at the tan male for a long sec-_ond before smiling at him. "I'm Do Kyungsoo." He closed the window, not letting the other male speak again.
