Chapter 8

I wake up by Aido gently shaking my shoulders.
"(Y/N) wake up" he says in a calm and sweet voice.
"Oh, sorry, I guess I fell asleep" I say quietly whilst rubbing my eyes.
"Was it that boring to you?" Akatsuki asked.
"To be honest, yes" I say, and everyone laughs.
"Come on, it's time to go back to the dorms" Souen says, so they start to leave. I get out my chair and walk with them. On the way back I look around and see the sun is coming up making it easier to see the place around me. Then I remembered that if I go a different way compared to where the others are going, I could go and have a look at what's in the barn. 'most likely horses or something like that' I think to myself. Whilst everyone is walking to the moon dorms I walk to where I saw the barn without the others seeing me. Whilst walking in the trees I hear a horse in the distance. 'I wonder if the horses are friendly' I think whilst walking to where I heard the horse noise come from. I start to run and then I see the barn/stables. 'Hmmm, the door, it's open' I think and as walk in I see Zero sleeping in a white horses stable. 'So that's where he was last night' I think whilst walking over to him. Just before I get to him the horse neighs angrily. "Ssh, it's OK" I say, but the horse neighs even more so I stop walking and back away from Zero. Just then Zero starts to wake up (A/N more swearing) 'Shit what do I do?' I ask myself. I run to the other side of the stable and hide behind a piece of wooden wall thats about 2 foot tall so Zero couldn't see me. I hear him move around in the straw.
"Hey, what's the matter Lilly?" I hear him ask the horse, then the horse neighs really loud and moves around. "Who's there?!" Zero shouts. I hold my breath and don't make a sound. Then I hear Zero walk towards where I'm sitting. 'what should I do?' I try to make a plan in my head. Then I hear Zero stop right behind the wall. 'This is it, he's going to kill me!' I scream in my head, just then he turns around and walks back to the horse. "There's no one there Lilly" he says. I breath out and look at Zero around the wooden wall, so he still couldn't see me. He strokes the horse then lies back down in the hay. 'How do I get out of here?' I think to myself. Just then I hear someone coming closer to the stable. 'Oh no, who's that?'.
"Zero are you there?" Asks the person coming into the stables. I quickly move my head so the person can't see me. 'Wait, is that Yuki?' I quickly look at the person and see it's Yuki looking for Zero.
"I'm here Yuki" Zero shouts to Yuki out of the slightly open door of the stables. Yuki walks in and then stops by the door. "Lilly won't hurt you" Zero says to Yuki.
"You better help me this time. Also it's almost time for lesson. Have you been here all night?" Yuki asks Zero in an angry voice.
"No. Stop asking stupid questions!" He yells at Yuki and walks out of the stables. 'Thank you' I think while he walks out. But then he shuts the door 'please don't lock it, wait can you lock it?!' I scream in my head. I wait for a while then open the door and walk out. 'Oh, great it's the start of the day and I have to go back to the moon dorms before the day class sees me' I think whilst walking out of the stables. I walk towards the moon dorms when I see some girls 'Oh no, don't look at me'. I walk around them, then run to where the dorms are. On the way I see Sairen
"Where have you been?" She asks me angrily and a tiny bit worried.
"Well, I just went for a walk" I lie.
"Fine, just next time tell someone. Everyone's worried"
"Sorry" I apologise to her.
"Come on let's let the others know" She said and walked to the dorms. I walk behind her and look around on the way back, we get to the gate and Yuki runs up to me.
"(Y/N) where have you been? Kaname told me about you going missing. Everyone is scared" she says as Zero walks up to us.
"I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to scare you all" I say in a sad voice and look at the ground. Just then Yuki grabs my arm and pulls me towards the door.
"W-What are you doing" I ask Yuki confused.
"I'm showing everyone you're alright" She says to me then she looks at Zero "Come on Zero" She says whilst opening the door and running inside to everyone.
"(Y/N) where have you been? I sent Sairen to find you, are you OK?" Kaname asked.
"I just went for a walk" I lie again.
"(Y/N) don't do that again without letting anyone know" Takuma says in a worried voice.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't think I would worry everyone so much" I say really sad because I made them worry.
"I'm glad you're alright" Rima says.
"I'm going to go to bed now, I'm tired, good night everyone" I say heading to the stairs and then going up the stairs. I walk to my room and get changed into my nightdress and get into bed and fall asleep. 'no one's been that worried about me since...' was the last thing I thought before falling asleep.
