A Good Day

Today was going to be a good day Stiles thought to himself, he felt happy for the first time since Derek had left.
Sure Stiles had more relationships since Derek had left, well just one.
Her name was Malia. Turns out she was related to Derek though.
Who would've thought he had a thing for Hales.
He had no rage of any kind in him for once.
He had a decent night sleep for the first time in a while.
Stiles got up and got himself for school, this was going to be a good day, he could feel it.

Once Stiles had gotten down stairs, he found his father wasn't there to great him. He must have been called in early or something, Stiles thought to himself.
Stiles grabbed himself a snack from breakfast and proceeded outside to his car.

Stiles hadn't checked his phone at all since he woke up a little late. But once he got into the car he quickly checked his phone, he had 10 missed calls from Scott, and the station.

Something was up he thought.
He checked the text messages next.
Scott messages didn't seem to be any use, expect for the last one. 'Stiles. Derek is back and this time for good.'
Stiles stared at his phone wide eyed for a moment before he kept reading the other messages once Scott's messages were all read. It was from Parish.

'Stiles call the station as soon as you get this. It's about your father, he has been hurt rather badly.'
Stiles dropped his phone after reading the last message.
His hands shaking uncontrollably now, he let out a soft laugh before it slowly got louder.
Soon enough Stiles was laughing and shaking uncontrollably before smashing his fist into the steering wheel of his car.

"Of fucking course this happens." Stiles said in a small yell.
"Calm down Stiles, don't lose your temper. Don't lose control, not today. You've been able to keep control every other day, today is not different. Keep it together. Just take your anger out when you are home again." Stiles said to himself in a attempt to calm himself down.

He needed to calm down now or it wouldn't end well for someone else or possibly himself.

So he waited for over ten minutes before finally turning the car on and driving to the hospital to find out exactly what had happened to his dad, he would deal with the problem of Derek being back later.
Right now he needed to focus on his father before anything else.
