Rescuing Lily (Harry Potter/Marauders Fanfiction)

James sighed and made his way back to the Gryffindor common room. Lily had ditched him, he really thought that she would have showed up. He threw the red rose he planned to give to her at the fat lady's portrait. 

"Well, that was incredibly rude!" She screeched.

"Panthera Leo." He sighed. The portrait swung open and he entered the common room, making his way to the table where his friends Sirius and Remus were playing wizards chess. He fell into a seat next to his friend and Sirius held up his hand to stop him talking.

"Maybe if you move the knight to-" Peter piped up.

"Will you just shut up Wormtail! I'm concentrating!" Sirius snapped. Peter looked at his feet. He finally moved a piece and turned to James. "What's up Prongs, date didn't go as planned?" He asked.

"She didn't even show up." He sighed. Just then Scarlett ran towards them, her face red, she was out of breath as if she'd ran all the way from the forbidden forest.

"They took her!" She wheezed. The boys looked at each other, puzzled. "It's Lily! They took her!" 

Their final year at Hogwarts has begun and James Potter is certain he will finally win Lily Evans' heart. Though while James is lusting after Lily, Sirius has found his own match made in heaven, the fiesty blonde that is Scarlett James. Remus however, decides to be more secretive about his own love life, sneaking around with Kirstie Lane, a shy Ravenclaw who took a shine to him from the moment he sat next to her in charms. 

Life was going well at Hogwarts, then Lily is kidnapped, and the friends must join forces to rescue her.
