**Before You Became an Avenger, you were called...**

Pietro Maximoff: феникс (Phoenix)

It was the name HYDRA dubbed you with. Due to your abilities, they found it fitting - and the fact that with your mind wiped, you had a very bad temper and the tendency to try and scorch people if you found them annoying...so let's just say that they lost quite a few agents in the base, whenever you weren't out on missions...

Tony Stark: Encryption

You used to hack into the Pentagon and other secret bases - including S.H.I.E.L.D. - but no-one could ever find you directly. When they attempted to track you down, you were always one step ahead; All they ever got was a long series of encrypted messages and bugs in their system.

Bruce Banner:  Heartbreaker

It was more of a cute nickname that stuck. Due to your ability to make other people feel pain or grief, S.H.I.E.L.D. labelled you with what you left behind wherever you went - a trail of broken hearts.

Steve Rogers: Star Struck

You were a super human too - just not a soldier. You were an assassin, made by HYDRA, with the same serum as him in your veins. He found that out the hard way, when he tried to fight you once on a mission - and you threw him across the street, through a solid brick wall. Ouch.

Bucky Barnes: Red Foxx

HYDRA really had a weird  way of choosing names. They called you Red Foxx, because of how sly you were; you could sneak into any base, without trouble, due to your abilities. To avoid suspicion, you could shapeshift into anyone you wanted, or turn completely invisible. No-one would ever knew you were there - well, that was until you catapulted them across the room with your telekinesis...

Clint Barton: Tundra

An nickname, given to you by your fellow HYDRA agents. It was more of a joke to begin with, but as your skills and training progressed, it was what you were primarily known as...

Thor Odinson: Cyanide (Cyan for short)

It was more of a code name than anything else. When you were training in HYDRA, you basically kicked ass 24/7. No matter who they put you up against, they were literally no match for your agility and speed. So whenever you were out on missions, they would call it 'Operation Cyanide' - because like poison, you were deadly.

Loki Laufeyson: Siren

It was really a no-brainer. Your super sonic screams could kill at close range, but your beautiful voice could enchant anyone and draw them into your clutches. Paired with a face as beautiful as yours, you made even an Asgardian god fall to his knees.

Peter Parker: Appaloosa

Wild and untameable, you were a force that no-one could go hand-to-hand with. HYDRA shied away from using you in battle, for fear of you either killing all of the agents - on both sides - before they could blink; or you made a tsunami from a nearby pond, and wiped out half the city...
