Don't let go

Here we go again another Monday morning the same routine. Wake up, brush teeth, have breakfast, get ready, go to school, come home, sleep. And again same thing Tuesday morning. Wake up, brush teeth, have breakfast, get ready, go to school, come home sleep. And again Wednesday, and Thursday and Friday. Can my life be any more boring, my weekends weren't much more interesting, spent most of it lobed on the sofa in front of a t.v.

I gues the only thing that makes my week a bit more interesting was my friend Baby (that's not her name just what we call her, we don't know why but we just do.) Well anyway Baby is probably my closest friend, I have known her since we where small children. Baby and I used to get into a but lode of trouble when we where younger, playing pranks on the teacher, leaving the tap running in the toilets. Obviously not much has changed since we got into high school.

But enough about all the boring stuff, this is where my story starts...

'Beep, beep, beep' it was 6:30 and my alarm was already going off, I tried slapping it to make it shut up but it just kept on going. I tried ignoring it but it just seemed like it was getting louder and louder the more I ignored it. I even threw it of my bed side table on to the floor (hoping that it would brake) but nothing the irritating noise of my alarm just kept going. "Sam, Sam get up you are going to be late for school" I started to here my mum shout from the kitchen downstairs. That is when I realised I had slept in, and it was no longer 6:30 but was now 8:00 am! I rushed to my wardrobe pulled out the first uniform I could find, threw my hair back in to a pony tail and ran down stares.

"Sam I am going to start the car, hurry up" my mum said as I sprinted past her!

Quickly (but properly) I brushed my teeth, grabbed my bag and headed towards the door. I looked at the line of shoes that where placed next to each other at the side of the door for my school shoes but they weren't there.

"Mum have you seen my school shoes" I shouted to her

"If they aren't by the door I don't know where they are" she replied.

Then I thought on if they weren't by the door I knew exactly where the would be! In my room, turns out they where not there either. So I had to grab a pair of shoes to go to school in until I found my other shoes!

I jumped in to the car and my mum just looked straight at my feet and then glanced back up at me.

"Taking it you didn't find your school shoes then" she said to me (looking quite mad)

"Nope" I simply replied

"Well if you think I am righting you a note on why you are wearing them bright red converse you have another thing coming girl!"

But the thing was I kinda needed a note, our school was well let's say very strict on shoes and uniform, and if like me today had the wrong shoes on you would get sent to the head of year Mrs Smith. And let's just say she isn't the nicest teacher in the world and only lets you off the hook if you have either a note off your parents or if they call up the school. But I kinda had an idea that my mum wasn't going to do any of them things. My destiny for the day was probably her office!
