"Mom. Im going to be fine. I promise. If anything happens i will call you." I give my mother a small smile. "I know honey, but... its not so easy letting your baby girl go." My mom says in short breaths. This is my first year of college and not only am i nervous but so is my mom.
"I'll visit you and zach whenever i can. i gotta go. The administrators are passing out the schedules. I love you." I say with sadness in my voice. "Alright honey. Be careful! I love you lots." She says before she hangs up the phone.
I feel kinda guilty for lying to my own mother but if i never told her that i had to go, she would talk my ear off about how i should be careful and that there are all sorts of creeps and pervs on campus.
I throw my phone onto the passenger seat of my car. I only have two hours until the administration office opens. I guess i should drive around town to kill some time.

Its been about two hours. I guess i should probably go to the office now. While i was in town, i went to the mall and did some shopping so i didn't have to waste any gas.I pull into the parking lot and get out. I walk to the office with confidence clearly evident in my body language. "Olivia Johnson." I say to the administrator. "Right." She says with a smile on her face. "Your dorm room is 235. Let me show you the way. And i hope you are aware that these dorms are boy and girl, correct?" I nod my head. These were supposedly the high maintenance ones. My mom insisted me to get into them.
Though, she wasn't aware of the boy girl arrangement but i wanted to try something out of my comfort zone. We stop at a wooden door with the numbers 235 on it. She hands me a key. "Here you are sweetie. If you have any trouble with this young man, you tell me." She warns me. "Alright. Thank you so much. I promise i will." I say as i put the key into the door. She walks away with a broad wave and a faint smile.
I push the door open and i see two beds. One completey empty and the other filled with posters and a messy comforter sprawled across the matress. Clothes are strung everywhere and water bottles litter their night stand.
You can Cleary tell that a boy lives here. A messy one in fact. I decide to push past the mess and get my things from my car.
I walk down the empty hall and out to my car. I grab one box, mainly because thats all i can carry. I only have 3 in my trunk so it won't take long. I push open the door and set the box on the bed and walk back out to get the rest.
I take my duffel bag on one arm and another box on top of them both. I walk back to the room to do the same thing i did before only... there is a different sight in front of me.
I gasp in shock. A boy about my age is sitting on my bed with a phone in hand. His features are as if god sculpted them himself. His tall lean body laying comfortably on my pillow.
"Well, are you going to stand their and gape at me all day or are you going to introduce yourself?" He raises and eyebrow at me. He has a thick accent of something but i cant lay my finger on it.
"I-im Olivia. But...you can call me liv like everyone else." I say with a slight stutter.
He stands up and walks over to me. Little too close than i thought. I back up slightly but he keeps walking forward. I hit a wall and look up to his eyes. They are gorgeous. A slight brown with little specks of blue and gold. Very unusual. He reaches down. His breath fanning my neck.
His hands wrap around the box and takes it out of my hands. A slight smirk smug on his face. He sets it on my bed. I follow and lay my duffel bag next to it.
"Do you have anything else?" He says. "Yea. Its in my car but i can handle it." I walk out of the room only to be followed him. We walk out to my car. I pop the trunk and show him. "See i told you i could handle it myself." I say. "I got it." He tells me.
His arms flex as he bends down to grap the box. Oh. "T-thank you" i tell him as i close the trunk. "You dont need to thank me. It was a simple task." He says sternly. "Besides, you enjoyed it anyway." He smirks.
I glare at him. He walks ahead of me. "I never got your name i tell him" with curiosity. "Erick." He says as he walks through the door.
