My life, or whatever you would call it, went downhill, fast. Lies, lies killed me. And worst of all, I believed them. Each and every one of them.

Have you ever heard the quote, "Feel the words, keep the sight"? Well if you think you have, you are lying to yourself, probably just so that you can try to have that connection with the main character in this book, just like any other, NORMAL story. Where there is always a happy ending and the protagonist has a "happy heart" and a "moral change". Well to bad for you. You selected the wrong book for that stuff.

Anyway, back to the quote. Well it's not a quote. The only one who said that is my teacher in 4th grade, Mrs. Nelson. Who does not have a degree, or anything that makes her credible. She thought it would help me and my troubled ways. And I believed her. For 5 years. And all those days, I believe is around 1,825 days, my life got terrible. As the plot thickens, the poor protagonist struggles against the antagonist, and her (considering this scenario) army of wild, willing monsters ready at any second to tare your fragile heart to 1,000 pieces.
