My new home in Alabama encouraged me for a new start. If new people, new surroundings, and new weather really is supposed to change how one acts, then why doesn't it work? Tragedy that strangely affects me all the time causes many chances for a new start, but I haven't taken any of them! Haven't is a strong word. Much like my 6th grade teacher in Colorado, I was thinking at that moment, one of tragedy, just because you try something does not mean you should give up. Yet, I pushed it away, much like all the tragedies I have been through in the last 8 years. So now I'm in Alabama, and tracing back my roots would take days just trying to find when I lived in Colorado. My new start.
