This stupid thing called love

CH.1 CHLOE'S POV:

"Ready?" I ask josh holding my pizza up, ready to take his dare that I could beat him in a pizza eating contest. " You don't even like pizza chlo" josh says with a confused look on his face. I smile "a dare is a dare" I reply. His confused face fades into a smile, which shows off his blue eyes. "Ready? set? GO!" he shouts. I shove one slice of pizza in my mouth. I try to ignore the taste and keep eating. I was on my third slice when the contest was inturupted by Josh's phone ringing it was Maddie, Josh's girl friend. He gives me a 'I'm sorry chlo' look and answers his phone. I just sigh and gulp down water trying to get the taste of pizza out of my mouth. "Hewo" josh manages to say in the phone. He still had pizza stuffed in his mouth. I laugh. A little too loud. Loud enough for maddie to hear. By now I can hear maddie screaming through the phone "WHO IS THAT?!WAS THAT A GIRL?!WHO WAS IT?!" Maddie screams loudly through the phone. Now I give josh the 'I'm sorry look'. " Babe it's just chlo- I mean Chloe" he says. Well that hurt. I just shake it off and get ready to leave. Then josh is off the phone. "Hey sorry I gotta go" he says. He runs out of the house as fast as he can. I guess I'll have to walk home. Alone. Again. Cause my best friend left to see his girlfriend. I feel a tear roll down my cheek but quickly wipe it. I soon reach home. I walk in and sit on the couch. Soon I fall asleep.
