Dark houses glided up the streets. I rested my cheeks on the cold window which now had ice closing in on the corners. A warm wind gusted through the air. My brain stumbled with confession it was like a heater exploded. "Mom how long Until we get there?" she didn't respond.
Mom she didn't even take her eyes off the road. A single tear crept down her perfectly shaped face. My mom never took hear eyes of the road, because my dad (Henry Greggs) and my younger sister (Abigail Greggs died a few months ago, when they were driving home from Abigail's dance practice, the taxi driver took his eyes off the road for to long. We all were still recovering. Matthew my older brother was sleeping in the front seat peacefully. I reached into my bag and grabbed a black sweatshirt, I closed my eyes the cold was back.

Flashback

"MOM COME QUICK" Mathews deep voice echoed through the halls. Footsteps filled the stairs I sleepily stumbled behind mom, my vision soon turned blurry my head dizzy with thought hearing muffled from all sound tranquilizers of sharp pains rushes up my spine. Matt and moms voices yelled, with helpless cries, "Da da daddy... Abbigail" I softly whispered. Emma... Emma...

Emma, the light was back eyelids snapped open my head jumped back in shock. "Emma were hear" my brother yelled from outside the car. I toppled out the car, almost tripping on my baggy sweatpants nocking a few boxes over in the process rushing to moms side. I gripped her waste tight like boa constrictor, her curly ash brown hair wrapped around her shoulder tickling my neck, she softly stroked mine almost the same colour.

Matt soon joined to hug. momentarily after that the warm energy was back I jumped, separating the hug "what's wrong em and em" mom croaked.
