I jump out of my bed and quickly run my fingers through my hair while running to my dresser. I'm half way to the wardrobe and within seconds I'm pushed to the ground by a laughing annoying 15 year old boy going by the name of Jonathan Ethan Parrish, my twin brother whom was pushed out of our moms vagina 7 minutes after me. He beats me to the wardrobe and gets his uniform and runs to the bathroom to get changed and quickly do his hair. I grab my red and black uniform and just get changed quickly "Come on kids the bus is going to be here soon and I have to leave early this morning because I need to get gas!" My mother yells up the stairs to us. I sigh and just run my fingers through my brown curly hair once more and look in the mirror sighing in content and grab my phone. Jon bursts into the room "DOES MY HAIR LOOK OKAY WES," he runs to rip his phone off the charger "OKAY FINE WHAtEVER DON'T TELL ME" he shouts without giving me a chance to give him a description on his hair, which to be completely honest didn't look half bad, he cares a lot about his appearance. Don't get me wrong, that's a very good quality, but sometimes, he can be a bit obsessive. We run down the stairs, which I'm pushing I'm a little because damn this kid is slow, I slip on my red vans and run out the door with Jon following out after me with his matching black vans. We run down to the bus stop in hopes of not being late; we live a block away from where the bus picks us up, we run all the way there and make it just in time. We climb the stairs onto the transportation to hell. We walk to the back, he seats with his friends, but my best friends stop is a few after mine, so I sit down the seat in front of Jon and wait for Haiden to board the bus. "MY BOY WESLEY!!!!!!" I hear someone shout from the front of the bus, my head shoots up revealing Haiden in the exact same outfit as everyone in the bus, however, he's wearing dark blue converse. His hair is light brown and long and curly, it goes just below his ears, it curls out at the ends. He has bright green eyes and is towering over everyone at 6'1, Jon and I are 5'9. Haiden starts blabbing on about his weekend and how he went to New York this weekend, his family is really rich, so his goal is to go to a different state every weekend and go to every state and island in the United States before the school year ends and so far he's doing very well. We pull up to Summit Prep and rush out of the bus and into the school, I go to my locker, following Jon because obviously ours are next to each other because we share the name Parrish. I shove my stuff into my locker and watch as Olympia Abbott passes me, she smells like Lilacs and Lily's. Of corse Jon catches me staring "come on Wes,you and I both know neither of us will ever get her, she the most misunderstood and wanted girl in all of Montana" Jon explained to me as he does everyday, I can always hear the disappointment in his voice when he does this. He always try's to push me to be happy and everything, but he needs to focus on himself. *skip through day, last period, dismissal*

I leave my last period class, Chemistry and head to my locker, I grab my algebra and English homework and stuff it into my backpack. I shut my locker door and jus back a little in surprise "hey, uhh what was it again?" Olympia points in my general direction, not sure if she's pointing at me or Jon because he is directly behind me getting his stuff as well. I point at myself and raise my eyebrows questioning whom she was pointing to, she responds by nodding her head reassuring me that she was in fact not pointing at Jon, but at me. "It's Wesley Parrish" I inform the sunning girl of the name on my birth certificate, my voice cracks because holy shit I'm nervous, hopefully no one heard that. "Oh, yeah, thanks. I'm not very good with names." She giggles "I'm Olym-" I cut her off "Olympia Abbott, I know. You're in a lot of my classes" she laughs a little "well, I've gotta get to Football practice , I'll see you tomorrow?" I ask in a hopeful tone "here, give me your phone, you can just text me after practice" she nods while reaching her hand out gesturing for my phone, she sounds nervous, but I pass her my phone, while she is typing, I turn around and look at Jon who has a shocked look on his face, I smile at him, he looks stunned. "Here" she passes me my phone back and I slip it into my back pocket "well, I gotta go, I'll text you" I smile and reach for a hug "okay, don't get killed out there, I won't be happy anymore" she says muffling her voice into my chest, at the end of her sentence, her voice begins to fade from sounding happy to sad and depressed, I'm guessing about thinking if I were dead, I don't know why I would be important or significant in her life, but by hearing how sad she got. I hug her tighter and pull her closer muttering "I won't, I promise" "LETS GO PARRISH, 5 LAPS" coach yells while jogging past me, she pulls away and runs toward the busses while I run to the field. I start to run my laps for warm up, 7 laps with the guys, then they go for water while I have to run the additional 5 laps because I was late. We run some drills and some Scrimmage, coach tells us we have a home game Friday night at 7 concluding our practice today, I walk to the bleachers and get my bag and start walking home, it's about a mile away. I take my phone out of my backpack and and text Olympia "Hey, it's Wesley, I died during practice today" within a few minutes and 2 blocks, I get text back from Olympia
O: oh no, that's tragic
W: yeah, I had to run 12 laps around the football field without a break, so yes. I'm overwhelmed with excitement, and now I have to walk home, so I guess you could say I'm ecstatic
O: oh, I'm sorry for making you late
W: it's okay, it was worth it
O: are you sure?
W: of corse
O: okay, wanna help me with the homework?
W: sure, where do you live, I'll come get you and we can go to the park and work on it
O: I see you, just stay where you are lol
Well that worked out perfectly, i stop in my tracks and wait to be accompanied by Olympia, I text Jon "tell mom I'm going to be late, I'm stopping at a friends for a little while" he read it but doesn't answer, whatever. I push my phone into my pocket and watch as Olympia walks out her front door and toward me, she greets me with a hug. We begin walking to the park that's about 2 block away from her house. We just begin talking and learning about each other, we arrive to the park and begin our homework. *after homework*
"Well, we should probably go home, it's getting dark. I'll walk you home" I tell Olympia reassuring her  "Thank you. Do you want my mom to give you a ride home?" She asks me worriedly "no, it's fine" I explain, I don't want her to think I'm needy or dependent, so I just walk her home and will walk back to my house. We are halfway back to her house, when our hands brush each other, I sway my arm backwards again but this time, I grab her hand and intertwine fingers with her. I look down and back up clenching my jaw, we just continue walking in silence. I walk her up to her door and give her a massive hug and pull her in tightly and hug her like I'll never hug her again, she did the same. She goes into her house and closes the door behind her and I begin running home. Once I get home, I run upstairs to my room shared with Jonathan and plop onto my bed, I lay there for a minute then open my back pack and grab my uniform because I was still in my clothes from practice, a black tee shirt and blue basketball shorts, I shove my uniform down a Landry shoot down to the basement. I go into the bathroom and take a quick shower because practice and running back here made be really sweaty, so ew. Once I'm out, I put my phone onto the charger and text Olympia "thanks for today, maybe we can hang out again Saturday because tomorrow night I have a game, you should come and watch" she doesn't answer for 15 minutes, so I go to sleep
