Have you ever heard of soulmates? They are the most cherished person in your life and this applies to werewolves in particular. The Moon Goddess created all of her children to have soul mates and it was almost always a guarantee that this would happen until the end of time. The option to even reject was never a thing.

Until suddenly, I was the one who had to face this oddity in my life.

Rejection.

The worst possible thing that could happen to any werewolf.

The feeling that the person created for you did not want you, did not want to love you, and chose to just leave you outright.

This is what happened to me.

"I, Daniel Anderson, reject you, Riley Falls, as my mate." he stated after he slammed me against the lockers and held my hands above my head. He just stood there with a smirk and thought that I would breakdown into tears. Well, think again, jerkwad!

And do you know what I said to him? I said three words that gave him a shock so that he actually loosened his grip on my arms and just stood there with an 'o' shaped mouth.
