Darling walked down the 5th corridor towards Apple's dorm, books in her arm and brain on point. Darling knocked on Apple's door with her tough fists. Apple welcomed Darling into her dorm and patted her bed, "Take a seat." Darling sat and laid her books beside her. Darling was amazed by the size of Apple's huge, elegant bed, big enough for five...or maybe just the two. "So, should we start on geografairy?" Apple asked. Darling flipped to her recent page in her geografairy book and wrote the date. "It says we have to list the activities of six enchanted creatures in a nearby forest. Shall we take a walk whilst the sun is still up?" Darling offered. "Ooh, totally!" Apple giggled. Both girls packed their book into their bag and grabbed a water on the way out. As they stepped down the cobblestone path along the oval, Darling was thinking about her plans before her story began. She hadn't came out yet....about her love for being a hero and that made her nervous. She just wanted people to understand her and love her for who she is.
Apple and Darling stepped outside of the school gates and headed towards the Enchanted Forest. "So do you know any good spots with magical creatures in the forest?" Darling asked as they stepped onto the mossy ground. Apple guided Darling deep in to the forest. After the girls had finished studying and taking their notes, they decided to take a seat and relax before sundown. "So, what are you thinking of wearing at Briar's party?" Apple smiled. Darling had a sparkly silver pencil dress in mind, with blue skinny jeans and just some classic sneakers. Apple moved closer to Darling and said, " I'm still very thankful for what you did during the dragon events last year." Apple's eyes glistened like the ocean in the sunlight. "Oh, yeah. It was nothing " Darling blushed, " we start to head back now." Darling arose and offered Apple up. "Why thank you, fair maiden." Apple smirked. As the girls walked back towards Apples dorm, the school mirrorTV's turned on. Headmaster Grimm's deep voice boomed " Students, can I have your attention please? Within the next fifteen minutes you should all be ready in your dorms. That's all from me now and a final announcement should come around later. Goodnight." Apple looked at Darling and said, " We should get a wriggle on!" The girls' heels click clacked along the floorboards as they ran to Apple's dorm.
Apple opened the door, only to find Gala, laying on her bed fast asleep. "Awe, Gala is adorable!" Darling sighed. "I know right!" Apple replied. As Darling got her stuff together and got ready to leave, the final message came over the mirrorTV's and the loudspeakers. "Attention students, all of you should be in your dorms ready for sleep now. Teachers will be checking the dorms within the next ten minutes. Get some sleep for all the work tomorrow. Goodnight!" Just as Darling went to step out the door, her mirrorphone buzzed. It was Rosabella, and she said, "Where are you? Professor Mama Bear just checked off level 4 dorms! Wherever you are just stay there or sneak down. See you tomorrow, Rosabella xoxo" Darling didn't know what to do. She could her Maid Marian checking the first dorms at the start of the hall. Apple had just got out of her bathroom, she was in her pyjamas. "Oh hey. Why haven't you left yet?" Darling ran behind Apple's vanity and whispered, "Quick, I'll hexplain later. Get in bed and turn the lights off!" Apple flicked the lights off and rushed into bed. "Goodnight girls!" Madam Maid Marian whispered as she popped her head in the door. Darling wiped her forehead and sighed, "So?" "So!" Apple replied
