"Yes" she breathed. Taylor carefully took her shaking hand in his and slipped the ring onto her finger. He hugged her tightly "Thank you" he whispered into her hair.
He thought about how he never in his whole life held something so protectively in his arms like he held her in this very moment. He could feel her heartbeat in her fingertips. Never in her whole life she felt his loved.
Taylor cupped her face in his big hands and kissed her like he was drowning and she was air, like she could solve all of the questions he had on his mind. And she sure as hell could. A few strands of her hair were stuck on her tear stained cheeks, her eyes were shining like the stars in the night sky.
"You're so beautiful" he whispered so only she could hear. "Taylor, my heart is yours forever and always" She never knew it but now that she thought about it, it seemed to be all she ever wanted. To really be somebody's, and to have them be her's.
"Baby?" Taylor said softly. "Yes?" she responded after a short while. Taylor kissed her temple before barely whispering "For Life".
