that first cup of tea turned into a third then a fifth, the tv hadn't been turned on. the two of them had just sat on Greys black leather couch, talking and laughing till the bright sun rays that beamed in through the window above them turned to a dim orangey glow as the fiery ball of light slowly descended but the conversation and jokes kept going.

"oh my god please stooop"
grey begged through hysterical laughter, "how are you so funny, leo its unnatural"

leo laughed his normally low calm voice now slightly high and filled with giddy glee "what is, being a comedian?"

"ah no wonder youre such a lady killer"
Grey says as he sits up properly whipping the tears from his eyes

"haha, i wish. the girls are only interested in my looks its so annoying i never get to be like this with anyone, this is the first proper laugh ive had in years"
leo said that with a smile as he set his empty cup down on a table mat, but Grey could see the slight longing in his eyes.
"what are you staring at?"
Grey blinked back to reality, his eyes refocused on leos face

"ah, sorry nothing just daydreaming haha"
Grey smiled trying not to show the sadness he felt for leo

perhaps this guy is more deep and emotional than people give him credit for..

leo gave Grey a confused look as he asked "what?"

"nothing, you want another cup?"

leo shook his head "i think we've had too much caffein how are we going to sleep haha"

"yeh i suppose haha but its better than alcohol"
leo burst into laughter,
"what?" Grey asked but only got laughter as a reply
"what is it?" he repeated in a slightly annoyed yet amused tone, as he moved closer to leo, Grey placed his hands on Leo's wrists moving his hands out the way of his face thats now red with laughter

"leo!? what is it!?"

Grey demanded, voice unnaturally high pitched as he squealed his question.
Leo slipped out of his grasp and stood up to catch his breath. his breathing started to calm after a minute, leo proceeded to turn over his shoulder and whisper the words incasing his laughter.

"light weight"

Greys face twitched with anger, a light blue glow resonated from his hands he then threw an ice spear at leo but he saw it coming and ducked, the attack was far too slow and by the way it half disintegrated before shmushing into ice flakes against the back wall beside the kitchen door, it was far too weak to do any real damage.

Grey folded his arms and pouted his lips, as he threw his back against the warm leather couch, despite the apartment being below heat to satisfy Greys body temperature, they guy was basically an ice cube.

leo sat back on the couch close to Grey he place his warm had on his bare icy shoulder and chuckled
"okay im sorry, im sorry, haha forgive me?"
leo smiled but it wasnt his normal sly grin, it was an innocent sweet smile, slightly resembling an exited child.
Grey moved his gaze from Leos shining smile, and looked him in the eyes, his blue pearls embodied happiness.

"ive never seen you smile like that before"
Grey pointed out in a soft tone, not breaking eye contact.

leo sat back his hand slid of Greys shoulder as if it has all of a sudden lost control as it fell with a soft thud beside him, he looked off to the side cheeks slightly red

"this is the most fun ive had in ages"

he admits slightly shy for some reason, it was fascinating to see such a profound obnoxious man be so fragile.
