How do you tell you best friend that you like her ex-boyfriend? My best friend is Annabeth and I'm practically in love with her ex-boyfriend Percy Jackson. I mean who wouldn't fall in love with him. Those sea green eyes hypnotize me every time he looks in my direction and his hair OMG!!! I just want to run my hair through it all the time. Ok, back to the subject at hand, how do I tell Annabeth that I'm in love with Percy?
I was heading to the Athena cabin where Annabeth is So I can tell her. Even if she doesn't care that I love Percy, he wouldn't go out with me. I'm just a daughter of Hermes. I'm nothing special. I walked in to the Athena cabin to see Annabeth working with some blueprints. Here goes nothing.

"Annabeth." I said nervously getting her attention.

"Yea, Y/N." She said looking up from the blueprints.

"I have something really important to tell you, but I don't want you to hate me when I do." I told her

"What's so important that you think I might hate you for it?" Annabeth asked.

Here goes nothing.

"I'm in love with ........ Percy." I said

"Really?" She asked with no emotion.

"Yes, but I won't tell him if you still like him." I told her

"A normal friend would say no, but I'm your best friend and I'm also a demigod so I'm not normal." She said

"So, does that mean I can tell him?" I asked with hope floating in my voice.

"Yes. I don't feel that way about Percy anymore so you can go ahead and tell him." Annabeth said.

I hugged her so tight i thought her head was going to pop.

"Thank you thank you thank you." I said over and over.

"Your welcome. Now go tell him." Annabeth said pushing me off her and out the door.

I ran to the Poseidon cabin where Percy most likely is. When I got there, I heard voices so, I stood outside and listened.

"Leo, how am I going to tell Annabeth that I like her?" I heard someone say.

"Percy, all you have to do is go up to her and tell her you like her." I believe Leo said.

Percy still likes Annabeth. I knew he would never like me. I an to my cabin and grabbed Back biter. Yea, I know whose sword this really is, Luke Castellan. The history of it made me fall in love with the sword. No one knows I have it, but if hat did, the would probably take it away. I unwrapped it letting the sun shinning through the windows hit the unique blade.
I gripped the hilt of Back biter tightly as I walked from my cabin to the practice arena. As I walked, I could hear gasps of shock and people whispering things. When I got I to the practice arena, I grabbed a dummy and started whacking at it. I continued to whack at it over and over until I finally decapitated it. I drug the dummy to the side and grabbed another one and started whacking at it.
20 decapitated dummies later, I decided to take a break, but soon regretted it. I saw Annabeth and Percy practice arena. I looked at my sword gout an idea. I'm going to challenge Percy to a sword fight.
Percy and Annabeth walked up to me. Annabeth was smiling like and idiot. I bet she's happy that she's with Percy. She probably said that she didn't like Percy so she didn't hurt my feelings. What a great friend.
